genuinely some very funny moments, but the game drags on for too long and it overstays its welcome

Really interesting mechanic. Mute the voices for the first 30 minutes.

Probably the best path to take as a follow-up to undertale. Charming writing, fantastic music, and improved combat. I Love Toby Fox's work.

why did they do this to hammerhead. probably the worst thing to come out of insomniac's spider-man game, and I hope this isn't a harbinger of things to come.

A huge backstep from what we had in the Spider-Man 2 and 3 movie games. Swinging isn't momentum based and webs don't even connect to buildings. Combat is a dumbed-down version of the arkham games, and... I don't remember anything about the story, so take that for what you will.

The game was alright, nothing really stood out except Noir Spider-Man (who I hadn't seen until this game). Combat works, and that's the main gameplay, so yeah, that's it.

This PS2 version of this game is a 2D platformer as compared to the more traditional experience on 360 and PS3, but it's fine enough for what it is. Shoutout to the people of new york that throw trash at the enemies for one of your finishing moves.

The single worst game I have ever played. It is not just a bad paper mario game, it is a bad game. It is boring at best when you're just walking and reading, and frustrating at worst when you are solving "puzzles" in combat, or searching a seemingly endless sea or dessert for the right NPC to talk to or the right spot to dig into. If i never play this game again, it'll be too soon.

Alright. I haven't felt like returning to it since I played it 7 years ago. don't really recommend.

The first game I ever remember loving. And probably is responsible for a lot of my tastes in games. Great story for a Mario Game, and one of my favorite stories. Loved the gameplay as a kid, but nowadays it kinda feels like I'm just running and jumping (without it feeling as fun as a proper 2D mario). Even so, this game is easily in my 10 favorites of all time.

The battle system is the best part of this game, with the funny scenarios coming in second. The story has higher stakes, but I don't like it's writing or level design nearly as much as 64 or Super. Too much backtracking, and too many repeated battles.

I like the atmosphere, it's a lot more laid back than something like thousand year door, even if it's not quite as smooth in the gameplay department. Probably my favorite of the original paper mario trilogy.
