Like illusion of gaia, earthbound comes packed with a load of hints if you need them! Earthbound is an easy RPG, but Nintendo wanted the game to be easy so it'd provide constant, uninterrupted fun. Earthbound has so many comic elements to it that Nintendo doesn't want you to give up on the game and never see those funny scenes. Earthbound is the first RPG to be set in modern time. You save your progress by calling your dad over the telephone, and you fill your energy by eating pizza! Speaking of pizza! You can play the game with your left hand and eat pizza in the other! Since the game can be controlled with the L button, which lets you talk and check (otherwise known as "search") and the control pad to move. Prepare to visit several places: a clubhouse! Arcade! BURGER SHOP! Theater! Lochnes Lake! Dinosaur museum! Hospital! Drug store! Stonehenge! Police Station! Library! A park! City hall! Preschool! A bakery! Laboratory! Tents! Caves! Inns! A desert! A beach resort! Grocery store! A snake shop! AND SATURN VALLEY! Watch out for master belch! You may have smelled him before.....BOTTOM LINE the battles and the HP elements seem out of place! But the psychic experience points fit the earthbound mold well. The game is easy but you should consider buying it just because its really innovative. Earthbound is the first RPG set in modern times. The graphics are impressive artistically, but not technically. The humor makes the game interesting.
