crackdown, borderlands, saints row, sleeping dogs, f.e.a.r., alan wake, gears of war, and while its not quite a dead space-esque scenario bc it'll be a fair amount of the same development team, ill throw in my hat for yakuza 3

basically any safe bet IP revival that was well-to-do at its peak but ultimately left for dead by suits counts here - which is many

@kingbancho yeah those are all candidates for sure. I feel like of those Saints Row might be the safest bet (capitalizing on GTA6 not coming any time soon). Crackdown might just get another sequel. Borderlands is still going strong I guess? Not sure anyone ever liked FEAR or Sleeping Dogs enough to warrant it (not that they're bad games) but that wouldn't stop them. I almost put Gears on here but didn't they kind of already do one? And a Yakuza Kiwami 3 would be sick, although I think the guy said that definitely wasn't happening. Or maybe I imagined that.

they basically said they'd rather remaster 3 because it was 7th gen but additionally the primary factor was that to justify its existence they felt that they needed to come up with a lot of additional scenarios and new content like they did with the prior kiwamis. now that 9th gens here i expect K3 will be given some thought so that the first three kiryu games all share the kiwami umbrella

I would absolutely love that. Contrary to popular belief Yakuza 3 even as it is now rocks hard and additionally whips ass
