Having gone through all the endings and hard mode, I can say that this game is really fun. Despite lacking enemies and very few interesting locations, I was never bored with the gameplay. But the story feels like a big after thought. Thankfully its not a long game - it just falls short of being an impressive one.

It's not perfect, maybe could of used a bit more time but I really love that games like this are still being made today. Lots of potential, maybe an update or two and I'd raise the score

Mario Strikers and Nintendo Switch Sports were a bit of a blunder. But between this, Three Hopes, Xenoblade 3, Kirby, Live A Live, Triangle Strategy, Pokemon Legends... if Bayonetta 3 and Sparks of Hope are as good as they look this may just be the best year for nintendo yet. This game is a banger. All the good things about Splatoon 2 and the expansion but better.

Im not here to argue about the price. Games go on sale all the time, and 70 dollars just looks like it's gonna be the new norm. It sucks but thats just how it is. Quality is not equivalent to price, same with game length.

Was this remake necessary? No. The remastered version on ps4 still holds up really well and is still great looking. You could say that this remake does mess with the art style of the original and id agree. But anybody can just share compressed twitter screenshots. When you're there playing it the game looks phenomenal, and HDR doesnt translate well to pictures anyway.

Price and necessity aside, this is an incredible remake. They couldn't implement all of Part II's gameplay without changing up the level design, but what they added is more than enough to make the game feel so much better. I dont see people mention enough of just how great the sequel is to play despite that being the most common complaint against the original. and if all you wanted was for that level of intensity and smoothness combined with the genuine perfect levels of stortyelling of the first game: this product damn well delivers.

Game is good, tired of hearing its not. Strange mods allow review bombing and reviews before games release but remove reviews actually calling it out lol. This website is a mess. A day or two timer like metacritic has would be good.

About the game itself, I am most pleased with Ringo. Atlus did bad marketing but I'm hopeful this game sells well enough that they realize female and/or talking mcs are a thing the series needs more of.

Dungeons are not that great but lets be real dungeons in SMT rarely are.

Not every game needs negotiating, glad they tried something new but lack of ways to get demons isn't ideal.

Story is good. True ending is hidden but worth it. The characters are compelling and go through enjoyable arcs. The hangouts are a highlight.

I am excited for the future of the series. I love Persona but I hope Atlus makes more spinoffs like this. This is everything I wanted

It is very flawed and too buggy but I still thought it was a pretty fun ride. This having the same rating as Fallout 76 is absurd

It's a far cry from what inspired it, but damn if it ain't fun

Being a cult leader brings me so much joy, I have found a new calling. The rogue like element is solid but the management stuff is what makes this game shine the brightest.

Who keeps changing the fucking covers for this series this game is bad enough

An improvement on the first in almost every way imaginable. Hopefully a third one is still on the table

Live A Live is one of the most unique JRPGS I've ever played. Its got a lot of love put into it, and you can feel it. The remastered 2.5 HD art style helps bring each story to life. While the actual gameplay is definitely a product of its time, as a whole the game is something everyone should experience

2022

Still some of the best puzzle games of all time

Leaves a little to be desired but ultimately a very well done dlc and for a really great price too
