I feel like how much you enjoy the game will heavily come down to how lucky or unlucky you get on your first run.

For me, I lost way more situations where the odds were in my favor for me to really enjoy the game based on the gameplay loop.

If you want the edge of Inscryption with a setting that feels kind of similar yet even more kinda data nihilistic "behind the scenes there's nothing at all!" in its vibe then this will work for you.

Unlocking an endless mode feels so weird to me in a game where I know I can make the correct decision every time and still get random'd out so it did not appeal to me.

Idunno, ultimately this just doesn't really do anything for me other than annoy me when I lose the 5th 50/50 in a row or worse.

Oh please, pleaaaase bonk me on the head. Okay, it's not as bad as it looks I swear. Big boobies sure, no nudity also for sure! I'm not scratching the bottom of the barrel yet, and you're wondering why this is in your feed. Ok so it's gonna be a doozy but here's roughly what happened: I wanted to play a sex game since it's one of the only types of games I haven't had the pleasure to play yet, I scroll through a bunch and decide it's not the time yet (they're scary). Lo and behold, skip a few hours and I'm looking for cracked copy of Journey for my bestie (i dont want to make her pay games just to play with me) and there it is, obviously. I recognize it, check through Steam yada yada, one of the top tags is "cute" and the price is at its highest sale that settles it I'll play through this.

Seems I cooked up a long excuse for why I have played this. Don't worry, I won't go to such lengths for the gay porn game I have in my radar. It's quite easy, dont last too long, but when it gets harder it's very fair! It's too basic to really get a higher score, although unphotoshopping a picture is quite unique from what I'd done so far. They're risque, but they probably would look like normal pictures if she had normal proportions. That'd be less bang for the buck (flat women we love u)! Now go get that bag gurl. We goin through the 4 seasons stay fresh all year long.

What baffling decision however, is that there's no romance? Rina and even your invisible self-insert with your name go far to make sure the other knows there's nothing more than a deep friendship here. It's not that I am against it, but that's not what I expected for the target demographic. It dont have the sex gentlemen, maybe we ought to play Bald Gate III. Anyways look at that white woman she made me pay to edit photos I will never forget that night.

if you think this game “plays weird” and don’t get the hype i beg you to play 5 other NES platformers then come back, relax, and feel the lushness of the first true strand type game.

super mario bros is not the primordially simple jumping game it is often introduced as. platformers had ages to mature in the hypercompetitive arena of the arcade throughout the 70’s and early 80’s. aside from its understatedly elegant aesthetic, the ambition in SMB is in the elevation of movement from merely a mode of traversal to a gymnastic, expressive activity.

megaman, simon belmont, and ryu hayabusa are all transparently simple state machines— the amount of possible actions they can take is finite and countable. super mario bros did not invent momentum in platforming, nor was it the first to leverage the additional complications that a more involved system of movement entails. the friction between the player avatar and the ground. the acceleration from a dead stop to a full run. the short moment after taking your finger off the jump button before the character truly starts to fall. all the little intricacies and details compound to make mario a much more expressive vessel for a player to inhabit. what sets SMB apart is that the movement is honed to the extent it becomes even more natural than the comparatively simple systems of the above games.

mario’s body doesn’t literally move like the human form does, but negotiating the balance of a jump in mid-air, trying to establish steady footing on unhelpful terrain, and wheelin and dealing with newton’s first law in general is central to the human experience. in super mario bros, nintendo squarely refocuses the platformer from a cabaret of obstacles to a celebration of acrobatic motivity

and so, it became the bedrock upon which their castle was built

My left nut thinks this is a very clumsy game. I tend to disregard that nut but I can see the merit in what it said. The cast features Hat Kid, and I think it needs to be said first and foremost, surely this is for a much needed trivalization of token white people and not using women to sell your game to gamers! Grossly exagerated, I find the inclusion very funny, and I bought the game solely to judge it and, if the stars align just right, enjoy it! There's been something of an obstacle in that regard, however.

If the catchy music, warm artstyle and straightforward mechanics try to clue us in, it doesn't take long to realize we've been played like fools. Beating up mobs is enjoyable, there's talks of bloated HP and whatnot but I allow some padding in indie games. These bosses? They're not padding, they're far beyond saving! The one with a fugly design is the first one, so it's already a barrier of entry because his ugly self is gonna show up first chance he gets. But be decisive dammit. Shield and bloated HP? You want to eat ur cake and eat my cake too, huh? Just the shield and changing phases once it runs out would be better. The surprise second boss fight in world 3 wasn't bad enough until I was completely stuck and lost a whole 200 HP in 2 seconds with no way of doing anything. This my post-work workout?

The comics used to tell the backstories of the characters are refreshing. The visual art part is, as briefly touched upon before, great! Animations and allat. The literary art is definitely there, somewhere in what I assume is a janky translation. The interactive part is... not there, and it's the most important art of a game as a piece of art. Satisfying aerial control can't be the core of the game. My co-op partner would tend to agree, since revival is limited and she becomes a spectator to my aerial prowess. I'd rather she just play with me because I start feeling lonely in these small samey hallways full of enemies overtime.

Filling up an entire page with the rainbow color was tHE SHIT

An awesome but basic feature that should have been brought back on 3DS

This was the future of gaming and the absolute troglodytes at Nintendo let it slip from their grasp.

Imagine where we would be today if Nintendo didn't screw it all up... we could have had it all...

Let's abolish all forms of social media.
Let's all return to Pictochat.

If you don't like Pictochat then there's nothing anyone can do to clinically save you.

My roommate Niko and my other friend DrMcMario introduced me to this game, and I had a blast playing it! They helped guide me through figuring out how to play the game, in terms of learning the controls and learning how to steathily make my way through the world foraging for food to survive and grow to adult stage.

It's really pretty with a lot of cool locales to explore as you try to bob and weave through other dinosaurs hunting you as you try to do fun quests to level up and store your EXP in case you die. I personally think the game's a lot more fun if you have one or more friends to talk and play with as you go so you guys can work together to complete quests and help one another survive, and it's a fun time! I also say this as interacting with the usual player base when you're not playing with friends you already know will likely lead to you running into toxic players who won't help you, definitely not the kind of game you wanna play alone unless you want to get bullied and hunted a lot.

Overall, I'd say this game is a great dinosaur life simulator that's a blast to play if you have other friends who play this game to work with, so that's how I'd recommend you play this game if you want to give it a chance. Definitely the best MMO I've played and one of the only ones I've genuinely enjoyed. Would highly recommend it if you're a big fan of Dinosaurs.
