This game starts with a really generic premise, goes on being kinda uninteresting for a few hours and REALLY picks up at the end. The ending didn't disappoint. The gameplay is fine, kinda clunky to the standards of modern shooters but completely playable. It aged quite well.

Really nice experience, i hope it gets a full remake or reboot one day that realizes the full potential of this story.

I don't think anyone needs to hear again that this game is a fucking masterpiece. If you never gave it a chance, do it now.

The remake is incredible. The only downside is that it kills a little bit of the atmosphere of the original, but the graphic upgrade makes up for it.

Having played this back in the PS2, i was expecting it to be very dated to play nowadays. And it's not. NOT AT ALL.

Aside from the blocky graphics, this game aged like wine. The combat feels amazing, very responsive and provides a good challenge. The story in this one also remained unmatched in all the franchise until the 2018 game.

A timeless game.

What's most incredible about this game is that when i played Dark Souls for the first time, i was marveled by the possibilities and freedom of the world.

Of course, i was disappointed on how linear From's next games would be, even if i still love all of them. But this game? This game delivers on that feeling of freedom and exploration and expands it in ways i could never imagine.

The game retains the core gameplay of Dark Souls, just doubling down on the build possibilities and diversity of spells, weapons and equipment, overall. An amazing evolution.

I didn't found the worldbuilding and the story to be as interesting as From's other titles, but it's still really great. Overall, it is really a masterpiece and not overhyped at all. Even if you didn't like From's previous games, this one deserves a chance. It's a really special and unique take on the open world formula.

One of the most unique and terrifying experiences i've had in my entire gaming life. This game is that good. Avoid spoilers, and go in blind. You won't be disappointed.

As someone who didn't like the base game that much, this was AMAZING. Such a compelling and well written narrative
accompanied by amazing quest design.

Another amazing experience. Didn't like it as much as Hearts of Stone, but still, Blood and Wine contains some of Witcher 3's best quests, boss fights and stories.

One of the absolute highlights of the hack and slash genre. Not only is the combat spectacular, but the story is the best in the entire series, with great ambience and soundtrack.

DMC3 does have it's drawbacks, though. The level design and camera can both be very confusing at times. Still, one of the best action games ever made, and a must play for any fan of the genre.

There is so much to love about this game. The combat - the most important part - feels AMAZING. The animations are incredibly fluid, the controls feel responsive and allows for just enough skill expression to feel deep, even if not as much as the other installments in the saga.

The story works, i think? Lots of interesting ideas that were sabotaged by a bad execution. Take the whole social commentary as an example: it's a good concept on paper, on execution it feels kinda immature and gets mudded with all the edginess, like everything else in the game, including Dante's personality, Kat's character, Vergil, Mundus... everything.

But everything else compensates for it. The level design is SO GOOD. The scenery transforms around as you traverse around in high speed, fighting monsters with a soundtrack so energetic, creating a wonderfuly polished and unique experience.

I am still to play a hack'n slash that feels like this one. Not that other games of the genre aren't good, but this just has a whole vibe that works really well. I hope Ninja Theory gets to work on another action game after they are done with the Hellblade series.

Never played the original, so this was my first experience with this game.

It's great. Titan Quest shows it's age, but even dated aspects like the UI or some systems never get in the way of fun. The build diversity is deep and allows for some of the best customization the genre has to offer.

Every fan of ARPGs should give it a try.

2016

Packing a simple yet very effective narrative, Doom is an absolute masterclass on level design, combat, polishing, enemy design and almost everything else you can think of.

Path of Exile packs the most complex, diverse and interesting systems with great atmosphere, but it's horribly inacessible and most of the times, confusing. You should probably give it a try: if you like it even a little bit, it has the potential to become one of your favorite games of all time.

There is no title like PoE in the entire gaming landscape.

Played the original a few years back, came back to the
Resurrected version. After playing through a lot of games that were inspired by this one, i can finally confirm: this is probably the best of the best.

If you are looking for a casual experience, this might be the perfect ARPG. The action part is great — while the RPG is as deep as a puddle.

The story might be terrible, but you can fully ignore it while enjoying the classes, skills and the endgame – which is genuinely one of its best aspects.

Overall, Diablo III is an extremely fun but equally flawed video game. I would recommend it for beginners of the genre or people who just want to turn off their brains and explode demons all over the screen.
