My personal favourite Tomb Raider game, this one. It has taken its predecessor and corrected most of its more glaring mistakes, even if not always in the most perfect way. The story is a little less rememberable, but the gameplay feels much more connected.

The second time the series got rebooted, and this time it wasn't quite as liked by fans, perhaps because it got rebooted after Underworld, which was better than Angel of Darkness, but this time they're taking a completely different approach with Lara's character and the gameplay itself, focussing more on survival and character development than the old-established exploration of older games.

It's not for everyone, but the ones who like this new formula will like this new trilogy.

The game is pretty good I will admit, but I just could never vibe with it. It lacked certain things that other games had.
