9.5/10 (Incredible, Closer to a 10/10 than a 9/10)

this game is actually so cool and would’ve been a ten but the fucking boss battles man 😭

10/10 (excellent game, not close to a 9.5/10 at all)

as someone who lived with mario kart wii all my life and thought it was the best mario kart game i can’t deny and say that i loved this game even more than that. first off the physics and such are improved which makes the game so much more fun. the graphics are colorful and vibrant and while im not a fan of the first booster pass track graphics with each booster pass they got better. most courses are fun and amazing with great concepts and such. the soundtrack rocks and overall this is the definitive mario kart game. glad i got this for my 16th birthday :)

10/10 (Masterpiece)

For the longest time I would consider Mario Kart Wii to be my favorite game of all time. It was the game that got me to play games more from 2017-2020. It was the game I always played… I always loved it and I still do.

But I think I have a new favorite game now.

3/10 (Bad… for me)

It’s one thing to be a hard game and it’s another to be a poorly optimized game. Despite me finishing Zelda 1 in just 3 hours this took me 3 weeks to finish due to how boring, monotonous, and downright unplayable it is despite my runtime only being around 4 hours with the game. While I think the weapons and locations are pretty cool it’s the unfair difficulty that really makes me boil due to the fact it’s not hard because it’s hard, it’s hard because of the awkward placement of enemies because their attacks have a reasonable pattern and such but they’re placed in tight places making it more difficult than it should.
The NES Zelda games aren’t a good impression for me. My friend has told me that once we get to the SNES games it gets better and boy do I hope so.

6/10 (Decent)

You may not know this but I’ve never played a single Zelda game before. I mean despite my older brother playing it I just decided to never play the series but since I’m older and now getting into new interests I thought since Tears of the Kingdom came out this month and my birthday is soon I thought I might go through all the Zelda games I can.

Anyways I like Zelda 1 a bit. I think the 8-but graphics are good for its time, the controls are smooth and responsive, and overall the combat when fighting enemies is solid.

My main problem with this is that there is so much repetition that makes this not fun. Go in dungeon, backtrack through the map just to get certain things, go back to the spot you were to get something, backtrack in the dungeon and to me it’s not fun.

I really don’t have a lot to say about this since the game isn’t really that long. It took me only 2 hours just to finish and the game isn’t that complex. Overall it’s just ok.

1/10 (Awful)

Mario Kart if you hate everything good about Mario Kart.

4/10 (Why did I play this?)

Ew cringe

3/10 (A downgrade from the original Wii Sports games)

Yeah this one isn’t great I’m afraid. Although it has some cute graphics (I like putting the costumes on my avatar 🥰), some fun moments like on soccer, and a decent soundtrack what ultimately falls is the lack of content, repetition, and outright boring vibe. Volleyball feels way too easy and slow, sports like Bowling, Badminton, and Swordsplay don’t have the same feel as the original games and although I haven’t played golf yet it’s absurd that it wasn’t even included at launch and even then it doesn’t add a lot to this otherwise empty game that somehow has less content than the original game which is meant to be a tech demo btw.

Go play Wii Sports and Resort instead of this trash.

10/10 (Masterpiece for me)

Yeah this definitely has its flaws like some of the levels (from the 216 custom levels) that people make are not great (Mushroom Peaks is god awful and I don’t see why that course hasn’t been removed or updated in 13 years) or the glitches and handling that’s mainly from the main game but I honestly have so much fun with this game and it’s probably one of the most replayable games of all time for me especially since I still play it daily after 6 years. Most of the courses made by the modders are extremely well done, fun to race on, and have interesting paths or ways like changing the lap numbers or stuff like that. I love playing online against other people since I love competition, additions like 200cc and Item Rain just create a ton of fun, and overall yeah for right now this is my favorite game of all time.
