Couldn't fucking finish it. Miserable.

Didn't expect to like it that much, but I actually loved it.

The game is completely linear, what I really appreciate in this day and age. It allows for a more focused experiance and not just a world full of pointless shit.

It's also not that long, only 15 hours which allowed me to finish the game completely within two sittings over the weekend (you can say one, if you don't count sleeping). Thanks to its short lenght it doesn't feel like it's wasting your time.

It also doesn't throw enemies at you every fucking 10 seconds, so you won't get tired of endless fighting, and actually gives a lot of time and care to fleshing out the characters and giving you moments to breathe and take things in.

And well... characters DO sometimes talk too much, but they are actually well written dialogues and they shut up at appropriate moments. The fake "bad words" do get annoying at times though. Also the upgrade system could use some more fleshing out, I like it's simplicity, a game like this doesn't really need a full on rpg upgrade system, but it just felt... too simple... just lacking at times. A couple more abilities and stuff couldn't hurt :).

This overall felt like a game devs put a lot of love and heart into... amazing experience.

2016

I got an app error three times before I finally could join a match.

2022

Wonderful little game.

Story may not be totally original, but the art direction made it worth it... also felt a bit emotional at the ending.

Gameplay is also very simple, it's basically a walking simulator and a puzzle game.. and you're a cat... if the game was longer it would feel really boring and tedious, but it's short so whatever.

Also the stealth sections near the end of the game kinda overstayed their welcome.

Enjoyed it.

It's a fun game... but not really my cup of tea. I got to chapter 10 and left the game unfinished for couple of months, because at that point I was just kinda tired.

I decided to play it again today, and I just can't continue... I don't feel motivated enough to finish it. Maybe I'll pick it up some other time.

Didn't actually think I would like it that much.

Back in the day I was a fan of Until Dawn and many other interactive movie games. I even liked David Cage stuff... yeah I know, I know. As time have passed, I started to notice flaws in these games, the plot holes, the shitty writing, the boredom accompanied with them. Never would have thought that I would like a game from this genre ever again... but here we are.

For the past week I was playing through the whole Dark Pictures anthology with my friend. The games themselves were fine (maybe except the first one) but I don't think I would like them if not their co-op function.

With The Quarry I decided to play it by myself... and I loved it. It has an engaging story, great character writing, phenomenal acting, charm and most of all... hard choices to make, which is surprisingly not a common thing in these types games. I usually tend to save everyone first try with ease, but here I actually found it challenging and failed.

I was really surprised by it and hope for more. Great stuff.

This one was really fucking good. Played it with my friend just like evry other entry. Was sitting on the edge of my seat all the time.

I really liked it... I really did... until this fucking stupid ass ending.

It's... eh.

The story is disjointed, the enemies repetitive, and encounters are too unbalanced for most of the time. Enemies are like sponges and the fights are just too long.

But still it's just more Spider-Man... so yeah... fun I guess.

To be honest, I didn't expect it to be that good, but I got pleasantly surprised.

From the moment you start playing, the gameplay feels incredibly satisfying and fun. This game is just A LOT of fun.

Fallen Order takes many of its mechanics from other games, like Dark Souls, Sekiro, Uncharted and God of War. Unfortunately, it doesn't have anything original going on except that it's a Star Wars game. But still, it does incorporate these mechanics well into its own setting and makes it work. I can't criticise that part because the gameplay is just so goddamn fun.

The story is ok for most of the time. It started peaking somewhere around chapter 5. The narrative began to feel more emotional, slow and focused. I LOVED the last two chapters. Can't wait for the sequel.

Play this game.

"ANNO Mutationem" is a really fun game... but it dissapoins in many ways.

It promises many things but struggles to achieve them all. One of the first combat segments takes place in a beautiful open cyberpunk environment, but the rest of the game takes place underground and is just a set of hallways. The bosses and enemies often have the same attack patterns and there's just not much variety between them. Side missions are... a thing... they don't really bring any value to the game, most of them (and there's not much of them) revolve around walking from point A to point B. The story is mediocre at best and I couldn't bring myself to care even for a moment.

But still... the game is pretty fun and charming. I would lie if I said that I didn't enjoy it. It has many problems, yes, but the satisfying combat, the looting system, and the general feel of the game makes it worth it.

Repetitive level design and boring gameplay. Played it only for the platinum and still got annoyed after 30 minutes.
