Its literally dark souls but absolutely nothing like dark souls.

Terraria, for me, is one of the greatest games ever made. There is simply nothing more to add. It stands as a piller of what games of its type can be; presenting the archetypes of its genre better then even Minecraft is able too. With only the most minor of flaws standing in its way to perfection. SImply put, a must play.

Good to play with an enermous amount of different items so you almost never get bored of exploring in this game. I suggestion from my experiences, never let you friends whp has op items to get in your worlds and do not automate things like mobs these 2 things completely pushed me out of game and I cannot play this game anymore but I am sure that I will be back for the Moonlord.

I was never really into or cared about this until playing it with friends. Then I realized this game has untapped potential for some of the most fun things ever.

Whenever someone says "2D Minecraft" I lose a small amount of my lifespan

A fantastic game but falls prey to the illusion of choice: "Do I progress or build this house?"

Play Calamity, great mod.

One of those games that have an interesting premise in the beginning, but by the mid-way point you're already sick of it. If you love Rick & Morty, you'll probably have a great time with this, but I'm someone who only managed to make it 3 seasons before I thought the joke was no longer funny.
I had fun with the movement options you unlock as you progress, but the game doesn't do much to improve the longer it goes on. None of the other guns are as helpful as the starting one, enemy variety is seriously lacking (seriously, there are like 5 types total?), and I was honestly just trying my best to speed through the game by the time the joke had worn out on me.
Thankfully, it's not overly long and the levels, although unnecessarily large and convoluted, can be breezed through pretty quickly once you get the jetpack and the ground slide abilities.

One of the very few games I consider to be perfect. I love new leaf to the bottom of my heart. It has all of the magic of the former games while having a special charm to it

It's not hard to see why Dark Souls is such a big hit.
Sure, this game hasn't aged as good as Dark Souls III - the controls are a lot more clunky. But you can get the hang of them within a few hours of getting used to that.

What's most fascinating is the whole world that this game is set in. It feels so varied and ancient, it gives me some undescribable feelings. Also it triggers a weird megalophobia I have when it comes to incredibly large spaces, like the Duke's Archive, Ash Lake or... The Abyss.

But of course the bosses is where it's at, and it has a lot of great ones! Some others are very gimmicky or unfair though, so you sometimes have to pray to beat them.

If you want to get into the Souls Games, you should probably not start with this one if you want to get into it smoothly, either start with Elden Ring or Dark Souls III!
