Insane game
Great characters, great story, great villain, smooth ass gameplay, the esper system is kind of iffy, otherwise great game
Most mechanically sound, marginally better than 6
Ability system sucks, love the characters and worldbuilding, also good story
Beautiful love letter with some pretty jarring issues
Probably my 2nd favorite mechanically, but the story falls apart in the last act because of writing and some dungeons that drag way too much

Dude the job system evolution in this is so fun and cool but the 2nd half of this game absolutely fucking blows, and that's coupled with nothing characters
Pokemon EV system without the base stats
Everything I hate about MMOs, I hope the expansions past this one are worthwhile.
