Mystic Ark? That's one specific game that I appreciate. You definitely are familiar with these ethereal and subtle games and this nice list confirms that, most of these games (that I have played) felt unconstrained like the developers had freedom to explore and experiment with any idea they wanted and that is one aspect that makes them special.

I have never heard of or seen 3D kaleidoscope, I did not realize I had missed a PS1 game that allows Music CD integration (like Vib Ribbon, Internal Section, ect) and that is absolutely my kind of experience.

Also Magician's Quest featuring some music from Tsukasa Tawada is not lost on me, his music is incredible. Ihatovo was unforgettable
