I like the presentation and the ideas behind Vampyr more than anything, if you can take some meh gameplay it has some cool visuals and what I assume is an interesting narrative. I couldn't, so I dropped it

Kinda fun and cool at first, but got repetitive really fast.

I still have to get the platinum but man, WHAT A GAME.
I never was a God of War guy growing up, so I had no previous attachment to Kratos and still they made me care so much for this flawed but loving father.
The gameplay is fun and intuitive, the places you go to are breathtaking and the story is cinematic and heartfelt.
The exploration is limited as it is not an open world, but I much prefer a world like this one that is self contained but has a lot of character and love put into it.

I am as biased as one can get: played the hell out of the original on my PSP and bought this version day one.
Not as graphically impressive as FF7 Remake, still beautiful to look at; the combat is fun and much more intuitive than on the PSP.
Definitely check it out if you like FF7.

Very fun game that is beautiful to look at, with a nice gameplay loop.
On PS4 the waiting gets a bit too long tho.

Not my type of game, but I get why some people like it: very tough platformer that needs skill and reflexes, two things I really lack

Got really into it in the beginning and log in every now and then when new story missions come out, but the gameplay loop is not as engaging and I hate the incredible amount of grinding in it.
I have very lukewarm feelings for the game: I find the characters and story interesting and the designs beautiful, but having to grind like a madman to have a fun experience isn't my cup of tea.

Very cool to look at, not so much to play; the combat has its moments with the combos but the commands are kinda clunky and the parry system has a different feel to other games; it got so bad I was actively trying to finish as soon as possible by the end of it.
It's a good free game for PsPlus (that's why I played it) but I would not recommend it as an experience.

Haven't finished it.
I tried it when it came as a free game for PsPlus and, while it is not my cup of tea, it made me appreciate why people like these sort of games.
I don't think From's games are for me, but I think I understand why so many people like them.
