Really liked it despite the middle being some real trash. The linearity serves the game well in many places by providing focused environments. But it also makes for some really bad sequences in the middle when they take away your option to be sneaky.

Pretty straightforward roguelite shooter, but executed very well. Everything feels great, interesting weapons, the heroes are very cute. Fun with a group too.

Really liked it despite it fighting me every step of the way. Real fun stealthy shooter with some wild stuff at the end.

The remaster is glitchy as all hell fwiw. Maybe try to run the original.

Lot of Glorgu bait - turn-based, wave-based, run-based, tactics. I keep quitting the game after runs just to return a little bit later. That's gotta mean something?

Lovely game on a weird planet that you can complete in a sitting or two, what's not to love?

On paper it has everything you'd want from a Shenmue, in practice it's all executed on in the wrong way. Bummed out honestly.

Farm game, but you don't have a farm, and put curses on people. Really satisfying mechanical loop!

A wonderous, exhilarating experience made all the more impactful with an often silly, but ultimately emotional and resonate story.

A fairly forgiving city-builder where the consistent need to keep moving and deal with new environments makes for a good dang time. Also maybe the first city-builder to feature fetch quests (that are fun!).

I am fantastically bad at this game, but it's real cool. Play it if you're looking for a space combat game that's nice and breezy, and has mechs.

The Forza Horizon formula continues to be one that really resonates with me. This time, the story bits aren't as annoying, and the map is lovely. Makes for a good time!

Great translation of Metroid to 3D. The blend of puzzle, platforming, and combat is really satisfying. The actual Metroid themselves though... spooky.

Just documenting that I miss the hell out of this game.

Loses a lot of what I loved about Shenmue in service of continuing Ryu's story, but in such an intentional manner that I respect. Miserable pacing in some parts mires the whole experience, even if it ends hella strong.

Make some minor alterations to the L4D formula that end up making a really satisfying game. The deck system opens up a lot of ways to play that weren't really there on higher difficulties in L4D. Enjoying so far.
