Third game beaten of 2024 and its the third game in the series ? what a coincidence. anyways i feel like the game is overrated though tbh i played the other mgs games before this one ( including 5 , peace walker , portable ops ) so it didnt really do much for me. OST is 10/10. Story is alright thought the amount of cutscenes is down right offensive and they just get spammed. MGS games follow a formula : get to base, do that , fight boss , cutscenes , torture scene , bike chase , metal gear fight , info dump and final boss. This one follows it to a T, but with obviously expanded segments. I like the clear inspiration from 60s media, especially from russia with love. All in all, Big Boss deserved better - both in lore and from konami.

Game is very comfy , very good with role play. Combat has just enough complexity where you understand stuff and you can micromanage do OP builds if you want or just not engage with that and just use the cool fireball ( but of course strategy beats coolness so you do still need to plan atleast a tiny bit ). Game broke with quests at a certain point for me but it was my fault considering I just clicked attack on everybody in said quest related zone. Also romance triggers wouldnt work for whatever reason for me so I was in a relationship that wasnt locked in and had no flirting or any events. Game commented on this in the end slides I got so uh fuck you game. Story is good, very nice. Lore and worldbuilding also great. Amazing soundtrack, cant believe they actually kidnap medieval peasants. Voice acting is great , all the sounds are great too. Some combat encounters can be a slog and the game has two combat focused DLCs which I did not engage with due to scaling and me not having perfect builds for everybody in my party roster. Overall, would recommend if you want a chill and comfy game with cool builds. From what I heard romance is dissapointing though, no wonder pillars 1 didnt have it.

First three chapters were awesome: Adventure , choice making , colony management. Was actually fun to explore the Koronus expanse , however by the end of chapter 3 i had explored everything except the systems blocked off by story progression. Then Chapter 4 came and I stopped. Chapter 4 is scripted moment after scripted moment. Too much busy work and poor enemy balance. I'll maybe pick it up in like 6 months when it got updated to be better balanced and optimised. Besides those issues, it has other issues. The romance getting forced before you get all companions, some companions not being able to be romance ( cough.. argenta cough... ) , writting getting meh toward the later chapters ( 4 and 5 ). Quests being uncompletable due to bugs.

Its basically the best COD game. Top tier movement, pretty good selection of guns and best of all anime mechs but realistic and stuff ( game had anime character images as placeholders , dont argue on that ). Titanfall 3 will be shit probably.

I weep. Pretty good writting and shit on this VN.

An amazing metroidvania. A unique power system with the souls , plenty of exploration and fun stuff to do. There are some cheap moments in the game but all in all its great. Would recommend.

Movement ? Amazing . Controls ? Divine . Soundtrack ? Some experimental shit with some holy sounding vocals if its your thing. Combat ? Fine , fun sometimes , but really the game is a breeze no matter the build. 3 story paths , bunch of mission variety. Game needs only a few minor settings changes to run fine on the ps3 emu. If you want to be a gundam , play this game or any other AC game.

A well written RPG with no combat and a multitude of outcomes . The game world has a rich history thats interesting to learn that is much like our own. Game lets you be fascist and racist which is rare for a game nowadays so if that doesnt show that the game doesnt hold anything back idk what will. The writing can also hit hard at times and the mystery is intriguing with many many lies . Playing as a broken man who drank and drugged himself so much he got amnesia and is trying to piece together things and try to be a functional human is deep and works well most of the time.

Fun play , bosses really end up becoming easy once you figure out your preferred build ( i went dual zimmermans and dual back mounted plasma launchers , it wiped everything out ) . Overall its just a moderned up fast paced version of the ps2 games which shows some of the flaws of the game . It really needs more mechanics than the simple 5 minute mission design. All in all its fun and feels like a mecha anime.

Pretty good adventure point and click game. Great story and art style.

Its good , offers tons of content and replayability with difficulty and challenge runs . Story is meh like always with xcom . It is a good game , wouldnt rate it higher than EW but its still worth a play . It is an unstable mess at times and is very unoptimised , even if your specs are beyond the reqs , expect HEAT but usually its stable and not buggy .

I thought it would be better but it was kind of just meh. The art style , the variety of areas and designs , all good . The gameplay needs a lot of overhauling , like major overhauls . The bosses are simple and meh . Some gameplay design choices are just baffling like the branches of yore . I expected more from this game and got dissapointed . Wasnt much fun tbh. It has plenty of build variety and the most weapons and gear in the series iirc but most weapons use the same moveset so .

meh , i want a game not a discount action flick

Its an average fighting game . The campaign story mode needs way better writing and quality control . The roster is alright . The gameplay , instead of improving on the ps2 era pseudo 2d-3d arena with style changing , went back to the simple mk1-3 type of fighting and this makes it somewhat generic .
