Remakes/rereleases that change the music for no reason at all and it's bad

"Ohh the soundtrack is good, the only problem is that it's unfitting" Shut the fuck up this OST is not good. The songs loop in like a minute and the PSX OST is 10 times better.

Yeah, they really had noooo reason to change the Red and Green music for the remake.
@PKMudkipz I just took most of these from the Backloggd discord server, most of these aren't even my opinions lmao.
i am almost certain the reason the music was changed in the doom remakes was because of hardware limitations (also iirc the 3do port was made in like, a month?)
champion theme in frlg makes up for the majority of the soundtrack being worse tbh, but yeah it's still worse
teebs i also do like all of the brand brand new tracks from p1 like the philemon cutscene themes but every remixed or rearranged one sucks poop
i guess some people really dislike the soundtracks cave story+ on wii or cave story 3d on 3ds added, i don't mind em personally but they probably fit the list
idk if this is contentious but i always thought the music in pokemon heart gold and soul silver was generally worse than gsc besides a couple standouts like route 27/26 and ho-oh's battle theme. like they ruined violet/goldenrod/surf theme which were some of the best ones in the original game, and downgraded almost everything else
