No, it hasn't gotten better. This is not a Cyberpunk or No Man's Sky style rebirth. This is just boring crap.

On the Wednesday morning this released, I went down to GAME to get my copy. Shop had a midnight release for it, with all the Vault 76 party stuff and Fallout themed decorations in the store - I didn't go to that, because I had already been to the Red Dead release and had classes in the morning.

Came home, set it to install, and drove to uni for the one class I had that day. Came home, couldn't get playing it. Server issues. Got out of the vault. Tried my best to like it.

Took it back to GAME at 5pm that afternoon. Different guy on the till than the morning - had the game in my bag. He immediately said "you returning Fallout?" as I walked in. "How'd you know?" I ask. "Mate, it's all I've done today," he says, "I don't even want to take my own copy home now."

Played it again on PC, but the game just cannot grab me.

Fallout 4 is quite underwhelming by itself - I finished a whole playthrough in 2015 on PS4 and when it was over I had absolutely no interest in going back...

But then there's something about it. Something oddly addictive. I don't know what it is, but I can never stay away from it for long - and with mods on PC I've extended that playtime tenfold.

Wake me when you need me.

Fuck, put me back to sleep!

I knew American English had different spelling but to fuck up "Philosopher" this much is crazy

Time Crisis 2 is THAT old?! They still have one of these in a bowling alley I used to go to.

Certainly one of the Metroid games.

Just try and catch my ass coughing to let my friends know the answers, ITV!

A much better console Sims game than the first one or the Urbz.

Never liked Adventure as a kid, because I played the Windows port and Heroes just seemed better.

With various patches, QoL mods and graphical enhancements I actually prefer Adventure to its sequel.

Despite the dated pop culture references and first dungeon that makes me wish for a nuclear winter, Fallout 2 is great. I do prefer the more sombre, serious tone of the first game, but this one expands and improves in so many ways.

An absolute classic, but seriously lacking in the refinement that would come along later.

Adrenaline, in my soul
Bret Hart vs Cody Rhodes

Great roster, anyone missing can be added back in via community creations. Far fewer bugs this time but Universe mode manages to take one step forward and two steps back. Let me do War Games at a PPV!

I'd love to see Rayman come back properly and not as DLC for a Rabbids spin-off.

Dad's favourite game. Can't bring myself to go back to it, knowing his save files are on my Steam account. Miss you, old man - wish you were here to do the exact same thing you always did and refuse to turn the actual game off because "if I close the laptop lid it turns off anyway".
