Don’t play it on ps3. I wasn’t caught by the story and and the gameplay wasn’t endurable
It was horrible on the ps3 at least. The frame rate was laggy and the first couple missions were painfully lacking in creativity and just consisted of ”Look, you’ve been here before!”

So underrated even though its more of a movie
I mean, it has some pretty kreepy visuals but the gameplay was a real gutpunch. It didn’t feel fun to solve the puzzles and the save system was so tedious. Tbh I had to complete the final hours while watching a youtube lets play of a guy who had completed it numerous times, something that he didn’t seem too proud of since he was constantly swearing and making annoyed sounds at the bullshit this game features. Sure the story is somewhat interesting but not nearly enough for me to ever want to replay it.
I played SH2 on this and it was my first taste of the SH universe. I am going to finish it on the PS2 one day but I’m still glad that I’ve finished it even though I didn’t finish the ultimate version
