more evidence that the battle of horny vs. good game design never ends

also you make a whole ass demon harem but make the protag a boring Big Dude. what a miss.

Interesting concept but I felt that I was left with more questions than answers upon completion of it.

The game had everything to be unforgettable but something is missing. You will probably play the game from begging to the end in one day ‘cause you will like the story and you’ll have moments that you will say “ohww”!!, but you’ll forget everything very quickly and move on to next game.

imagine bitches hating an entire game bc the ending was a bit lacking

This game is good. The ending is just a bit shite is all.

Sometimes you play through a game that feels like a chore and wrestle with the controls because it's so goofy that you have to see what it's like when you come out on the other side of the game.

You don't need to do that with Escape From Bug Island. It really isn't worth it.

Insane that we got one of the most empathetic and compassionate series of games towards people suffering from mental illness in the early 2000s and outside of indie games, nothing has come close since.

It'd be really funny that if Konami brought it back they'd hire the studio with games that are the complete opposite of that.

EDIT (Oct 20th 2022): if only you knew how bad things really were.

this game surprised even a jaded corpse like me with its sheer scale, and i'll never forget that, but the ever-increasing distance from small-scale level design and the ever-sharper fixation on pressing the dodge roll button means this series has never felt less unique once the novelty of scale wears off

tried to play this again because the nemesis system is cool but jesus christ everything else about this game is just fucking repellant

It's so tedious, I got really into it for like 3 hours for some reason and now Im tired of it and never want to play it again

Nancymeter - 55/100

We all wanted a sequel but... Like... This wasn't awful but was extremely repetitive. Felt more like a grind than anything.

LIBERAL GUILTY GEAR....

Testament = THEY/THEMstament
Bridget = BridgeTRANSGENDER
Sol Badguy = Sol BadGAY
Goldlewis Dickinson = GoldLGBT Dickinson
I-No = I-No

well lads they made guilty gear for everybody rather than just insane people [humming and hawing, muttering noises, sounds of consternation, air of uncertainty fills the room] however they also made testament genderfluid [rapturous applause, hi-fives, screams of joy, hugs, buncha guys start making out
