If you’ve answered yes to any of those then, rest assured, you’ve already had a similar and, undeniably, vastly superior experience to anything Call of Duty WWII could provide.

In place of any relevance to the actual history of the conflict, the game instead offers a shallow greatest hits compilation of the war as fondly remembered cinematic spectacle. Too much of it was very familiar. Little, if any, of it is actually worth remembering.
