I did not talk about the music in my Persona 3 review that is why I am doing it here. I really love the soundtrack of this game. Really embodies the urban feeling and is also really charming. The sound mixing is not the most ideal but I would say in some cases the bad mixing also enhances some songs for example the loud drums in Master of Tartarus. It gives the song a punchy feel that sounds like a beat down or something like that. Oh I forgot to mention my favorite songs in the game:
1.Changing Seasons
2. Memories of the City/School
3. Living in Determination Iwatodai Dorm Mix
4. Deep Mentality
5. Darkness from The Answer
Also be writing a review for Persona 3 portable where I shortly go over about my experience with the female protagonist route.

One of the few games that touched me in a personal way and it's also really great as an action game and RPG.

This review contains spoilers

It is a great game but I think it really did not capture the atmosphere of the original and also the new things they brought in are mostly great addtions but suffer from minor things that hold them back like the theurgy system or shifting in the combat for example. The link episode were probably my favorite new addition to the remake. Theurgy is really cool in concept but ends up being just a too strong attack that kinda destorys any kind of challenge or interessting moments. Shifiting is mostly better implemented actually. Tartarus is also really weird. On the other hand it is a improvement to the original but on the other hand it has more annoying things to deal with. The music is also a mixed bag for me. Yeah it grew on me over time but it sounds so off for me outside of the game but atleast I really like the new music and some of the new arrangements. The dialogue seemed to be maybe less subtle in reload were they just spill the beans. It just felt so off for me in certain scenes like the one with Strega and Shinjiro where he gets the persona suppressants. The new cast is great but I personally enjoy the original english voice cast more also like the cute cameos that they have in the game. But for this japanese high school game I think the japanese dub is the most ideal one. Obviously it is just my personal preference so yeah. The german translation I think was alright there were some weird errors in there. But overall I had fun with the game and it was nice to experience one of my favorite rpgs in a new and also very familiar way again. The ending was perfect they really did a great job and the new game plus title screen is just so great.

Peak modern persona for me.
It is the only modern perosna game where I could really imerse myself into its setting and World. It really resonates with me and feels relatable in a very specific and personal way I can not tell because of anonymity and I also do not feel comfortable writing it in the review. However the gameplay is a other thing on its own. Firstly I want to say I really like the Gameplay, but it is really punishing. I could see someone that can not power through it giving up in some point because the life sim aspect unfortunately is affecting the Rpg side and it can make a playthrough really annoying and punishing. But I still really like that the life sim aspect is realistic in a specific way because I think it help me care more about the characters and their struggles and personalities. For me Persona 3 has the best cast of any modern Persona game. Besides that I actually want to talk about the dungeon crawling aspect and the actual combat. The dungeon crawling is unfortunately the weakest part of the game and kind of a series wide problem of the modern era of the persona series. The combat in the other hand is actually great yeah even if you do not give your party any direct orders. I could work well with the tactics menu. The Ai is dumb sometimes but for me it is not that bad. At the end I just want to say that Persona 3 is a game that is really important to me as a person. It means so much to me. It really felt like I found something that understands me. Like the only games that come to my mind is The World Ends with You and Flower, Sun and Rain. I thankful for this 70 hour game teaching me to value my life, my friends and just in general people that are in my life. Everthing ends at a certain point but there is enough time to enjoy life to its fullest. I am greatful to live. Even though this game dealts with heavy subject matter. It's still a game full with joyish moments. It shows all the beautiful things about life. Even how badly life treats someone you are never alone. People are always by your side. Man this shit just resonates with me. I know I said that I won't be personal in this review but I think it's appropriate to mention that.

Fuck the Story but the parry mechanic is sick asf and great. Music is alright some tracks are really good and I am not just only talking about the vocal tracks but also the tracks that play in certain section like for example the track that plays in the chase in chapter 1 with the choppers. The difficulty balancing is also solid that also goes for the ranking system too. I like that this game wants to you to approach the enemies in a different way compare to other action games like Devil may cry or Bayonetta. It kind of reminds of old beat em ups or resident evil 4 where position really matters. It also does not care about much Variety that is in your playstyle. It rather wants you to play as efficient as you can. But yeah those things I mentioned also help and are kind of viable ways to play Devil may cry and Bayonetta except not caring for variety in the combos you should keep that in mind. I also like that you can get a no damage S rank without even using the parry. Yeah pretty good game . The story does not matter. It is entertaining like Metal solid gear 4 guns of the patriots (still stuck in the Ps3 limbo for ever trapped there). The memes of it really drag it down.

This game makes me feel miserable and I love it

The best action RPG that square made.

Fun fishing game with great music

Probably the best rogue like I ever played. I really loved the atmosphere of the game. I also really loved the characters in the game really charming weirdos. The Soundtrack is also fantastic. Masaharu Iwata (also did the soundtrack for Final Fantasy Tatics with Hitoshi Sakimoto) did a really great job. I also recommend checking out the nerve tower website there are really cool things in there about the game.

Good thing that it's free. It's unfortunately kind of a mess. Also isn't balanced well it's inconsistent and messy it reminds me of the critical mode from kingdom hearts 3. But not everything is bad about the update. Music was amazing, the story actually was alright did it's job better than the original ending and the new cyberspace stages were really fun too. The Highlight obviously was the final boss itself but yeah it's kinda messy too and sometimes unintuitive. However I still really enjoyed the boss fight my inner seven year old sonic fan saw a cool super sonic boss fight and for me especially that's enough. I almost forgot the playable character they are alright they are lacking in some parts and they actually not that fun but I am still happy that we have some I hope Sonic team takes the criticism of the update to heart. They are almost there to make a great sonic game that most people can enjoy the update is hard but sometimes the challenge was fun too and not just frustrating or annoying.

Probably my favorite ds game and one of the greatest grasshopper manufacture games.

Probably one of the most beautiful games I ever played and also a really fun rpg, but it's really flawed in some aspects but I still love it

One of the few games that made me cry and also my favorite Final Fantasy entry to date. I really loved the cast. They felt like a family of misfits idk. I am also in love with the sphere grid system. It is not perfect and also not that free but I loved the options it gives for so many different builds. Also love the pacing of the battles and general how combat is designed in the game. Also like that you can use every party member in battle. It finally gives the feeling that every one in the party is involed in battles. I want to conclude the review with the music and I don't think there is much to be said Final fantasy x has some of my favorite music pieces I heard in general. I teared up when I hear the Besaid or Luca theme. The character themes are also great like for example Yuna's theme.

Great game but I still think Devil may cry 3 is just more focused than this. Devil may cry 3 also has more variety in the stages with puzzles and clever expropriation. The boss line up is also stronger in 3, but there were a few boss battles I really enjoyed in 5. The music is also great. I wouldn't say it's the best soundtrack out of the franchise. But I personally like the other soundtracks more especially the soundtrack from Devil may cry 2. Newcomer V is a really interesting idea I also had fun playing him. But in execution he is kinda junk and unresponsive. The story was really great in this game. I think Nero earned his protagonist status with this game he had some great moments in the story. Only one thing that bugs me about the story is that both Lady and Trish had so little to do in the story that was kind of disappointing. Combat in this game is obviously superb it's really good. It's classic dmc like the combat opens up fast the game gives you in general so many options to do things with different effects. Sin Devil trigger goes so hard man it's just so sick I love it. Haven't played Vergil yet. I probably will update the review in the near future hopefully.
