A most excellent tiny metroidvania game built for Pico-8. Has a very interesting story concept where you get one new line of story in every single room. As you revisit rooms to backtrack-progress, the old parts of the story come back up.

Unfortunately I felt like What The Golf overstayed its welcome. The wacky mechanics changes every level were neat, but eventually just wore thin for me. It made a great first impression, which is probably why I wasn't as impressed with it having heard a lot about the game over time before I got to it.
