I'M DA PIZZA MAAAN!

...that's all I really remember about this one. My memories seem to have combined this with Crazy Taxi, which this game actually predates (though, unlike Crazy Taxi, this game isn't "open world"). Played this in the arcades, though that doesn't seem to be an option here.

I love me some climbing in my video games and this is some gourmet-level climbing. I wish the world building and story were a little bit better though; exploring the ruins of a former civilisation built into the side of a massive mountain sounds awesome, but outside of a few moments, it's so rare to feel like that's what you're actually doing.

Gameplay's solid, exploiting enemy weaknesses is a very satisfying addition to regular turn-based combat that fleshes it out well, and the characters and classes each bring something fun and unique to the table that made me want to experiment and swap around party comps frequently. Graphics are also beautiful.

I understand why people find the party traveling together despite their stories being so disconnected questionable, but personally that doesn't bother me all that much. The overall quality of the stories is admittedly kind of a mixed bag. Some stories like Alfyn, Olberic and Cyrus's were quite good and featured a lot of fun scenarios and characters, but there were also a fair few lackluster stories like Tressa, H'aanit and especially Primrose.

I think if you like the general gameplay loop, the graphics and are at least intrigued by some of these characters' stories, you'll get a lot of hours out of this, but there's also nothing wrong with skipping this game and playing its superior sequel. If you play this game after 2 I think you'll find some difficulty readjusting to the many features that weren't in 1, but you may still have a good time.

It sure was a game, me and a friend beat it in a single sitting, wasn’t expecting anything long but it was still fun

The idea behind this is really inspired but the execution is a little hit and miss. Fundamentally having to pay attention to the horizontally-scrolling note highway makes it hard to pay attention to the fighting at the top of the screen.

It's pretty basic stuff but honestly not bad - worth checking out when it's on sale.

Yes this game is perfect change the poster back

I could spend my time here talking about the many misgivings I have with the storytelling, but it really does not matter, cause no matter what criticism I had about it’s “redundancy” or how “amateur” it is, I would still always find myself at the sidelines cheering them on. Hoping and praying that these two characters who needed each other more than anyone else would be able to communicate their feelings to one another. A desire to see these two find a speck of happiness, a moment of catharsis for all the frustration I felt in watching them awkwardly try to navigate their blossoming emotions in spite of their trauma and responsibilities.

You could call this ever present desire of mine my weakness, and it’s this weakness that Echo of Starsong exploits to hurt me in ways fiction never has before.

I’ve spent multiple hours just constantly replaying the final moments over and over in my head, looking for a silver lining, a recognition that my catharsis wasn’t stolen for nothing, but there’s no light at the end of this tunnel, just a field of regrets.

Very old-hat gacha game with time limits and currency funnels. Yet, also incredibly stylish and engaging with its flurry of attacks and precise timing combo capabilities. Very incremental, both good and bad.

It's a gacha version of AFK arena and it has been pretty fun! A lot of microtransactions tho

The combat system is unique and fun, and also brings out the personalities of the well loved characters of Street Fighter. I only hope they will add more and maybe do collabs with other fighting games. Would be mega

Amazing game, the soundtrack alone already makes this game worth a shot. But the gameplay and graphics are also amazing. The gameplay is super fun to play, it has enough depth into it, but it doesn't get too complicated. The story is solid as well, nothing to amazing but it fits very well with what the game is all about. The game has two routes, the Yuito (male character) and Kasane (Female Character) i won't give any spoilers but both stories end up connecting at some point, i wasn't able to finish both of the routes, but i definitely plan on playing this game on the future again and finish both. The two main characters have a similar yet considerably different play style so i would just start with whoever, but it's recommended to start with the male Character first apparently..? I'm not so sure why tho. The soundtrack in this game is outlandish, on the good way, I've never seen any kind of music like this one and i sure wish there was more games with such a unique soundtrack out there, the music feels very "natural" while playing, like, it's something the people on the actual game would listen to, and when the serious moments happen, the music give this sudden turn in style, that really catch me off guard, I'm not a music expert, but i can definitely say that it is very well done.
Overall an very good game, there isn't much i can complain about, the game overall does a good job at everything, and it's definitely worth playing.
