A decent leap into the level-editor genre for Mario (and Nintendo as a whole, really) and a fun way to celebrate Mario's anniversary.

A very nice extension of the previous title, this time with much more polish and a lot more creativity to be had.

A title more colorful and whimsical than the usual Mario game. Has very comforting vibes, even though I have no nostalgia for the game.

Much sillier and more bright and cheery than the previous game, but arguably it loses a bit of the atmosphere which made the original so special. Still a very fun game, and an impressive Mario title.

Very quirky and silly puzzle game. Impressive for a Game Boy title.

Not for me, but decently fun when I play with those who are close to me. Creative character designs.

A very interesting title which combines classic 2D Mario gameplay with RPG elements and an immersive, deep and emotional story, which seems like a risky move, but they did it very well.

A game that likes to have fun with its unique identity. A very silly entry in the series, not only with its unique gimmick but its music and characterization as well. The tracks are all very unique, too.

A rough title, compared to the other Mario Kart titles, even the previous one. CPU players are absurdly balanced and some track designs are very boring.

An undeniably fantastic game, but one that fails to capture my attention regularly. It's me, though, not the game. I have to acknowledge that this game is an incredible work of art which does everything including gameplay loop, atmosphere, story and character design very well. Obviously a very big deal for a reason.

An iffy golf game, but like most Mario titles, it's a lot more fun when played with friends. The music and the atmosphere are excellent and uplifting, too.

A decent continuation of the SSB series, but a bit lacking compared to previous entries and the gameplay itself feels extremely sluggish. A very good roster, though.

A very rough game overall, the controls are lacking and the gameplay loop is complicated and monotonous. The atmosphere and music is very impressive, but part of the atmosphere is dampened by the mediocre writing.

A nice temporary turn for the Mario series, taking a much more thoughtful, puzzle game approach to the formula. The visuals are very silly and the voice lines from Mario are cartoonish and funny.

A great game both visually and musically, but the level design is clearly dated and lacking sometimes. The atmosphere somewhat makes up for it, though.
