Games I played from 2023 ranked

Ranking games and DLC's from 2023 that I finished. Will update this list as I finish more games from this year.

This game is a true work of art. My GOTY for 2023. It's just everything I wanted from this game and more. I love survival horrors and this one is just so unique, the atmosphere and vibe are something you don't see a lot in this industry. I love the way they tackle enemies in this game, especially the Alan parts, keeps you on your toes. Story is incredible and so meta wink wink. Remedy keeps suprising me with their creative setpieces and I couldn't be more excited to see what they do with the DLC or Control 2.
Man, I fucking love Resident Evil. These last few years it really has turned into one of my favorite franchises of all-time. This remake only solidifies my love for the franchise. Superb gameplay, fun exploration with lots of puzzles to solve which reward you with gems or treasure which you can sell to my boy the merchant. Lastly Leon is the best character ever but has no rizz in this one. I'm sure I will be replaying this one.
I keep saying this and i'm gonna say it again. This is probably the best and most impressive soulslike game I have played that is not made by Fromsoftware. Lies of P gives you a dark twist on the Pinocchio story while also giving you a memorable and fun experience. I LOVED the style of the world and the story in this game. Highly recommend.
Remaking a beloved survival-horror game with this much passion, love and attention to detail is always gonna leave you with an amazing product. Amazing remake for an amazing game.
People always say System Shock is the "father" of Bioshock and it always had me wondering what these games were like. Thanks to this faithful remake I could experience it in the best way possible and man what a game it is. The old unforgiving gameplay elements are still present and they can be scary but it's such a unique and amazing experience that I recommend everyone to play this atleast once. If you love Bioshock you will love System Shock. Immersive sims are just the best.
Genuinely one of the funniest games you can play with friends while also being one of the most terrifying if you end up alone. It's still in early acces so I hope the developer will add a ton of content later cause the potential for this game is insane.
Not as good as the first one but a great game nonetheless. I liked the option to switch between Peter or Miles on the go. There are some really cool set up pieces here aswel for the THIRD GAME???? But bro on the real where tf is NG+
From the creators who gave you rip-off Dark Souls comes rip-off Sekiro. But fr this game is very enjoyable and satisfying to play. I just love that parry, and that counter move you do after a parry bro? Ooooh that's my shit.
fun, addictive, but short. Love the dark twisted style of this crazy take on russian roulette.
Honestly so shocked this game actually released and turned out to be good. It's not great, there's a lot of room for improvement, especially story/character wise but I had fun playing this with a friend. Even the side content is fun and well done. Good humor too.
Gameplay wise this is the best outlast game for sure. However it's not as scary because of the co-op and there is just not enough to do at the moment, just four trials... (Still in early access as i'm writing this).
A nice return to the roots of Assassin's Creed. Interesting story, smaller city/game, more stealth focused gameplay. I did like this one a lot.
Really makes you feel like a gin- jedi I meant jedi.
Funny Russian propaganda game.

WARNING: All profits go to the war against Ukraine.
This game much like the first one gets a lot of praise. I played it with two friends but I was bored for most of the playthrough. Not a fan of the randomly generated content, bosses and loot. Makes everything feel soulless and repetitive, most areas felt like I was just walking in circles or navigating a maze. And that second phase of the final boss is a mess. Just not for me.
The devs didn't care about this DLC and it shows.
