Man this has to be one of the worst games I have played in awhile and on top of that a terrible way to throw myself into the world of Gungrave. I will eventually go play the first 2 titles but seeing how there is a movie to get you caught up on the story I just wanted to play GORE since it seemed cool from the announcement. Going in hoping to get a fun enough cheesy game I wasn't expecting anything amazing but I also was not expecting what I got from this game which isn't a good thing.

I guess we will start with what I did enjoy about this game since it is very short. While I think mostly the OST sucks I do like the tracks of a few levels and I do like the song that plays in the labs while you upgrade and get new skills. There are a good amount of skills to gather called demolition shots and honestly they look cool and are a big importance to the game in which I will get more into with the negative portion of this game. Execution animations get the job done and I found some of them to look pretty rad but they get boring after sometime.

And well that is it about the positive mostly everything else will be about the negatives.

Like I mentioned about the OST most of it sucks as some levels would just annoy me literally because of battle songs. This is where this gets interesting because I hear a lot of people complain about difficulty spike with this game and to be honestly I do not understand what people say. I played the game first time on hard and literally found it insanely easy but I can understand why people may think its hard. On hard you pretty much get one shotted by bosses and rockets do insane amount of damage but remember what I mentioned about the demolition shots earlier? they quite literally break the game. People may not know but when you use a demolition shot you have I frames for about 3-5 seconds after using it on top of getting instant shield back ON TOP of being able to literally negate any attack coming at you the moment you use one. The reason why this breaks the game is because you EASILY get bullets to use Demolition shots pretty much making you invincible if you learn to time your attacks to everything. Once I figured this out it pretty much made the game a cake walk to the point of almost becoming boring.

Won't really talk about the story since it was so bland and boring I wont waste your time with it lol. The core gameplay was fun at first being very chaotic and fast but this quickly wore out as enemy types and variants were very small making for very boring stage to stage combat in later levels. They didn't even bother with enemy type nor designs you literally will sometimes see the same person 10 times on one screen since the game wants to throw you 10 melee enemies but don't want to come up with more then 1 design for them. Moving from enemies to bosses they are all insanely bland and boring to fight as once again demolition shots break bosses since you never really have to be careful when you fight them. There was one boss fight where you had to fight 2 bosses at once and that was insanely annoying and probably the hardest boss in the game.

Hell even the way enemies come out is just straight out hilarious as they pop out onto the screen and run at you THE SAME EXACT WAY EVERYTIME. Speaking of the same exact way the game has zero transition from gameplay to cutscene the game will randomly go black and throw you into the cutscene really making it awkward and sometimes takes you out of the game. Game as well doesn't look good graphically it looks like a PS3 era game which I never mind but when you take into consideration they were charging $50 for this damn game at launch I will throw graphics into the negatives since they wanted to charge almost full AAA price for a triple F game.

Huge disappointment I do not even recommend playing this game through gamepass which is what I did. Use your time somewhere else on a better game !

Always wanted to get around to playing this one after seeing that funny trailer that was released for it before its release.

Honestly though I just don't find the game that much fun it honestly was a bit of a bummer because I do enjoy the characters from the game. The gameplay just feels so slow and floaty it makes movement very boring and sometimes confusing when you want to jump around or go for a mixup in corner. The gameplay in general is very simple as there are a lot of auto combos and easy to press moves to do which isn't a problem to me I never really mind more easy access controls to FG games.

With that being said some may enjoy how the game plays and to be fair there is a decent amount of single player content from story mode to endless battle , time attack and versus modes. The arcade mode is very strange as it isn't as usually 7-8 character gauntlet it instead makes you fight through the WHOLE cast making for an insanely long arcade mode unless you change the battles to be 1 round only.

I didn't get a change to even try online since it was pretty much dead so I won't speak on it but I have heard there is no rollback netcode for the game so I can only imagine that it isn't a great experience.

Overall I wouldn't get this unless if you are a big fan of the series or you find it for dirt cheap which I did the later half ! it was on sale for $5 recently so I went for it and I don't feel like I wasted my money at least I got my moneys worth I just don't think its good.

You know I won't really go to in depth with this one since you have most likely already heard about this one.

Going in with low expectations I still somehow ended up being disappointed even further which I was not expecting. Buggy unoptimized PC port and I have a pretty good rig and still was dipping below 60 FPS A LOT in the open world. Horrendous mission design making for a boring gameplay loop that never once changes up its formula with its main and side missions. Laughable bosses that pose no challenge whatsoever making you wonder why this game even has bosses LOL.

Gameplay is unaspiring and insanely easy as you can mostly one tap human enemies and UV Ray mostly every type of vampire and just smack them once or shotgun them once when they get stoned. You really never have to think about anything during the game you just run and gun and I played solo and still had zero issues with any segment of the game on high difficulty. And the story was there but I did not care a single inch about the story. The game was also pretty short? I was doing every side quest I was coming across and I only clocked in at around 11ish hours by the end which surprised me idk if I was just missing stuff but I unlocked everything on both maps and was doing every side quest I was coming across.

Its just sad because I LOVE Arkane studio I ADORE Dishonored and prey a lot so a game like this coming from them is a punch in the gut.

Thank god it was on gamepass allowing me to questionably play through this atrocity hahaha.

Don't even give this game a try through gamepass lol.

RIP to anyone who bought this at full price.

A bit bummed out because by just looking at this game it seems like such a good idea. Golf in a Post apocalyptic setting is something that should be fun since the courses would be able to have a lot of variety.

Well sadly this game is more of a story teller with golf as the way to tell the story before you. Okay cool I do not mind that but the issue shows very very deeply as the golfing just isn't that good and in later levels becomes downright unfun and unfair due to how the golfing works. The physics of the ball is terrible and it makes no sense how it flies around and stops in it place there seems to be no motion with the ball but in some holes going for a soft hit will smack the ball ???

Its very hit or miss but since some of the courses will require precise shots it will make for a very unfun time as you consistently hit the ball out of bounds and never really understand where you should aim and how hard you should hit.

All in all bummer and I won't get into the story for obvious reasons and honestly the story is cool I liked it and it if you understand that this is more of a story game with terrible golfing attached you may enjoy this game more then me. I bring this up because if you are okay you can skip levels after you hit the ball a certain amount of times so you can in theory skip most of this game to just get the story.

TLDR: Buy on a deep deep sale I would not recommend at full price.

Alright well here we are with cooking mama on a console other then the wii!!.

So all in all I don't think the game is bad HOWEVER. This game does not translate well to playing on controller and holds back the overall experience a lot. There are some mini cooking games that can be downright obnoxious due to the controller portion of the game take for example. On burger recipes you roll the beef into a ball then you have to press down gently on Either left or right stick to form the patty. There is zero way to know the right amount of pressure to press so most of the time you don't even press hard and will mess up. Another example is the meat grinder where you twist the lever for the meat or whatever the recipe is using. For this you have to rotate either Analogue stick in a circle but if you go to fast the game will prompt you " TOOOO FASTTT". The issue is you barely even start going fast and the game will think its going insanely fast so it makes these type of mini games extremely annoying.

There are 2 player games but they are local play only and I highly doubt I will ever get anyone who would want to play it so I didn't get a change to dive into the mini games. There are 50 recipes in total with there being a few different ones for the Vegan side of the game. Not a bad amount of recipes all together but there wasn't a good variety as well since a lot of mini games were reused for a lot of the recipes and by this point I would have hoped for more variety in the mini games.

Overall its still fun during its more simple mini games but doesn't really reach the heights of older cooking mama games from the DS or wii era. If you do want to give this one a shot however I would probably suggest the Switch version since you will be dealing with motion controllers. However idk how good that version is either so don't quote me I am just going to assume since motion / touch controllers are how these games should be played that it will be at least a somewhat better experience.

Its fine at best. Honestly was quite let down because the game looks great and the boss designs are honestly really awesome I dig it. The sound effects for slashing enemies is good but the core gameplay and level design just wasn't fun at all for me.

This game is a side scrolling action game where you have 2 weapons plus skills you pick up and use. You have a katana which is your main weapon , a hook that can act as a weapon and 3 types of skill weapons you can pick up. The skill weapons consist of Shurikens, fire bombs and orbs. The only worth while skill upgrade are the orbs as they SHRED through enemies and more importantly will evaporate bosses. The fire bombs are literally useless as they are incredibly hard to actually hit enemies with and can always damage yourself. The Shurikens are good for level play as they one shot most enemies but fall off during boss battles as they don't do much damage then.

Movement is fine at best I was not a fan of jumping as it most of the times can leave you open to getting hit. You cannot aim your katana strikes or any moves for that matter your only option is swing or throw in front of you or behind you making some areas annoying where you would need to walk down a slope or when there would be crouched enemies. Because of this moving through levels was really not that fun and borderline annoying at points due to Archers and red ninjas which were more powerful.

As I mentioned bosses looked awesome but the fights themselves were nothing special as most of them consistent of Aerial projectiles with more enemies coming at you from above. Hell the final 2 boss fights were literally a walk in the park due to the Orb skill being borderline broken in boss fights.

Overall I am torn because from the surface the game looks great but I simply just wasn't that much of a fan of it. I don't think its a bad game by the stretch and hopefully I enjoy the sequel more!

Wow this game blew away any expectations I had and its now one of my all time favorite Puzzle games.

Humanity is a puzzle game where you play as a dog and run around maps trying to guide People to a goal by placing down various commands around the map. For example if you need the horde to go right you place down a arrow pointing right and so on. It seems simple at first but as you progress throughout the game you unlock more commands like jump , follow and hell even weapons really opening up how to play the game. This game turns from a puzzle game to a strategy game to a tower defense and it pulls it all off very well. The gameplay is simply addicting and will keep you hooked throughout the story mode.

The presentation , OST is amazing making for a very calming experience even in some of the harder levels of the game. In each level of the game also has gold buddies which are the extra objective in which if you collect them you will unlock new things like costumes for your humans , more gameplay changes and stats you can view. They will make the levels a bit harder but I highly recommend going for them as it makes it more fun imo. Later levels will force you to get these golden buddies however but most levels you are not forced to grab everyone of them.

The cherry on top for this amazing package is the fact there are player made levels you can play. Yes this game pretty much has infinite replay value as long as people continuing releasing levels which I am sure will happen.

This is an amazing package for $30 and even more if you are subscribed to the PS plus higher tier level subs since its in the game catalog !!.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME.

I really wanted to give this a 3 and a half star because I really do think this game is a blast but lord does it have issues. To get this out of the way I really enjoy this game its a lot of fun! the core gameplay loop is fun and I wish this game would make a return in any form or shape because there aren't a lot of games like Pursuit force.

Anyways! Most of my complaints really boil down to bugs, sometimes terrible control and downright unfair and annoying levels.

This game really was unique for its time as the gameplay loop has you driving at highspeeds in which when you are near an enemies car you can jump onto their car and highjack it. There are on foot segments but they are very basic and just get the job done with you autolocking onto enemies and shooting at them. Its simple brainless fun but even for a PS5 version this game had a surprising amount of issues. To start controlling motorcycles is near impossible as even bumping into anything will send you into a frantic out of control spree causing you to hit everything and sometimes just losing ALL control of a motorcycle. The same thing applies with cars but cars control league tons better so it isn't as bad since you can gain control again pretty quickly. Past that there are points where my car would just go out of bounds of the map or sometimes even under the map causing for very awkward situations and sometimes frustrating ones.

The later levels of the game become downright unfair as the game wants you do objectives pretty much flawlessly and if you mess up for 5-10 seconds that very much can cost you the whole mission. The level pool in general is very basic as all games pretty much have the same mission loop which I started noticing near the end which honestly wasn't the biggest issue.

Past the story mode there are trials, races but I never found them fun at all so I only did what I needed to do for trophies and moved on. Speaking on story there is one but it isn't that good but I mean what can you really expect story wise this game sole focus is the fun gameplay. To boil it down gangs do bad things ... stop them.

I did achieve the platinum trophy its very easy so that was nice not having to do anything outlandish for it the trophy list is very straight forward.

Overall this was a game from my childhood that I am very glad to see put onto the PS5 I just really wish past them making it look nicer that they weeded out the bugs and annoyances of this game more. Overall if you have the PS+ sub you mine as well try it !

Simply one of the best RPGs I have ever played. I went into Expecting to enjoy it as I have heard many good things about it but what I did not expect was to be FLOORED and being completely inlove with everything about this game by the end of this beautiful journey.

This game is the game I will recommend people when they ask me what is a great first RPG to play. This game respects your time and will not force you to grind hours upon hours for an item or to level. I really wish more RPGs would follow this formula as it would make me play them more knowing I wouldn't have to dump 60+ hours into the game with 50% of it being grinding.

The game sets you on multiple journeys with 7 characters each with their own storyline. For the most part each characters story is about 2 hours long with the exception of the fighter being only about 40 mins long. Speaking of the fighter he by far has the weakest storyline and I was bummed out because I was pretty excited for his story. My fav stories in the game were the Shifu, both Future stories and the western story.

I will not talk about anything else as honestly going into this game as blind as possible really elevated the experience for me. As this game is now on most platforms this is a MUST BUY for any RPG fan or fans who want to get into the genre.

Its an experience you won't get often and one that should be experienced by everyone.

Phenomenal game.

This game is such a blast and I really hope the team continues to add more and improve upon the game.

Deceive inc is a Spy x Hero shooter game where you spawn into a map with other players all disguised as NPCs. You walk/run around the map trying to find rooms that will have a machine that will allow you to unlock the final room. This all sounds simple BUT this is where the fun starts and lord is it very fun. While you are running around you will be in the same areas as the other real players but you never know who is who unless you catch a real player acting weird in which you can shoot them and see if they are real or not. If it is another player you both will go out of disguise and into the agent you actually chose and fight. If the person you shot isn't a player but an NPC you will go out of disguise just being ready to be jumped on by other players.

Its such a simple gameplay loop but its weirdly addicting since the gunplay is very fun and it is extremely fun trying to sneak your way around the map not wanting to get caught or catching out other players. Each agent is equipped with their own skill set and weapon that is specific to that agent alone and there are agent gadgets you can as well equip to each agent.

Honestly as of right now I don't really have to many negatives with the game past balancing issues with some agents and agent gadgets. I really hope this game does well enough to allow the dev team to show continue support because I really do think this game can form into a nice little online game as updates continue to roll out.

Really wish I enjoyed this one a lot more then I did.

Dead island has always been an interesting series to me from its initial E3 trailer to the big disappointment in its original launch of the game. I played it when it came out on 360 but barely made it far into the game as I didn't really enjoy it back on the 360. Fast forward Dead Island 2 FINALLY comes out and it looks like a very good time so I thought I could boot up the Definitive editions of both 1 and riptide before heading into 2.

I will say I did enjoy myself this time around a lot more then my original playthrough since I actually finished it this time. With that being said this game is still just painfully average BUT isn't the worst thing ever there is fun to be had with this title.

First off why do we get "Definitive" editions of games when they really don't feel Definitive at all. There wasn't anything game breaking but there were weird glitches scattered around the game and sometimes hitboxes that just weren't working correctly. I feel like so many Definitive editions of games we always come with more issues lol.

Onto the game. The story is honestly very basic for a zombie premise there are twist and turns you expect although the final cutscene leading up to the final boss was so terrible lol. I won't get into it for spoiler reasons obviously but I literally scratched my head at how dumb that cutscene was it was ZERO sense and so much could have been different about it lol. Overall I really don't know how to rate the story but if you have seen any damn zombie movie or played any zombie game you pretty much already know the dead island story without knowing the dead island story LOL.

The world is fun to traverse and roam as there are a bunch of side quests to take care of and a bunch of Collectible and new blueprints , weapons to find scattered around the map. There are cars which honestly surprised me because I don't remember cars being in the game but they for sure help getting you around each map to make for some fast traveling if you want to get to your destination fast !. Overall I really enjoyed the world of dead island.

Gameplay can be hit or miss honestly. Gunplay is terrible but the melee combat can actually be very fun and a bit challenging later in the game. There are a bunch of weapon mods to get and craft making your weapon gain extra stats like poison , shock etc etc and can be VERY useful against bigger enemies. Each character has their own strength and the women I chose was more Blade focused so I used knives , katanas and so on for my playthrough and it felt nice to slice and dice through zombies. Fury mode allows your character to become OP for a certain amount of time and can get you out of tricky situations if needed. Overall Gameplay was honestly good its a fun time and I was never really bored by slicing zombies.

The character pool in this game is honestly Mediocre besides Sam B for blessing us with a classic song hahah. You never really care for the characters at all throughout the playthrough and I feel like that is usually a norm with Co Op focused games. Speaking of Co Op I did not play Co Op at all during my time I played this game fully single player and yes I know people will say "ohhh this game is better with friends" well to that I say .... Any game is better with friends even the worst of worst.

In the end I was leaning towards a 3 and a half but with the bugs and glitches , Trash final cutscene , Weird hitboxes and just overall meh feeling I am leaving this game at a 3 star. While my respect has for sure grown a little bit I still think this game is just average as all hell.

Man this game was a disappointment on so many levels for me. First thing I had no idea this was actually a mobile game before being turned into a console full fledged game if I knew that I might have went into this with lower expectations. Reason this effected me is because I LOVEEEE Virtual On and I have been feigning for a new entry and this was the closet to a new NA Virtual on we have gotten in FOREVER.

Anyways onto the game.

While the gameplay is fine enough there really isn't much to each character past their ultimates and one weapon that is specific for them. Past that they all play pretty much the same not making for a fun diverse cast as it pretty much dissolves into which character do you just like from the mobile game. Overall the gameplay is passable but it just didn't do enough for me as the gameplay loop hell this game puts you through was barely doable.

Onto what ultimately hurt this game for me is the lack of single player content, difficulty , dead online and a TERRIBLE trophy list.

The single player content is pretty much a boring "story" mode and a versus mode there is barely any single player content in the game and the story mode is simply boring. I won't get into the story for this game as I really don't care for it and once again you won't care about it unless you are probably into the mobile app.

Online? well it was dead at launch and its still dead as we speak you will not be able to find a match unless you probably grab some poor soul who also paid for this game.

Now I usually don't talk about trophies since I usually never really make it count for its score but I have to talk about the trophies in this game. This game has probably the worst easy trophy list I have ever seen with it forcing you to play the story mode 3+ times with EACH character and there are about 20ish characters to play as. On top of having to buy 1000+ accessories for ALL characters.

Overall an immense disappointment and while it isn't the worst playing game there is just not much saving grace with this game.

What a very fun and addicting game.

Obtaining through the Humble monthly that is currently out, I was always interested in this game but never really saw anyone talk about it. It is a shame that is the case because this game is a pure gem and one I hope more people discover and play as time goes on.

Think Pro skater mixed with a third person shooter with Max Payne slowdown and you have Rollerdrome! the premise is simple you play through levels trying to get high scores and do challenges to unlock later levels. It makes replaying through levels a must but it didn't bother me since the game was fun enough that I simply was playing through levels to try and get high scores in general. The game is short and sweet and doesn't overstay its welcome but I do hope maybe some DLCs or something will come out for this game.

The weapon variety gets the job done giving you 4 weapons to combo with by the end of the game each having their own strength and weaknesses. I personally loved the Sniper and Shotgun the most I found those to actually be the best weapons to use. There is of course a lot of skill involved if you want to go for highscores and watching videos online of others get crazy scores is very fun I highly recommend watching some!.

My only complaints would be the lack of bosses , sometimes weird maneuvering and 1 very annoying enemy type. There is literally only 1 boss in the whole game that you fight twice and honestly wasn't really that fun of a fight I was honestly hoping for more human bosses or just a change in bosses in general. While moving around was fluid and fun I sometimes would find myself confused on where I would need to steer to get the character to rollerblade forward making some situations awkward but that could have purely been a skill issue. While the enemy variety makes for quick decision making and precise dodging there is 1 enemy type that was VERY annoying to fight against. They would autolock onto you with a blue beam and the beam would continuously shoot at you so you had to make sure to kill them fast issue is they disappear after you shoot at them and will re appear. There are ways to kill them before to disappear but in very hectic situations it was easy to mess up and throw yourself out of rhythm when they start firing again.

Overall my negatives with the game are nowhere near enough to hinder any of the experience of this gem. This is from start to end an addicting and well made game that I HIGHLY recommend even more sore if you play on PC since you can get this through humble monthly for $12 with other games included ( UNTIL THE END OF APRIL)

Ahhhhh nostalgia. This was a childhood game that I never beat so I had to hunt myself down a copy to finally play through it fully. Its been a bummer because I have been doing this with multiple PSP games that I didn't finish growing up but most of them have been very bad besides a few. Very glad to say that this game is VERY fun and one that I am glad I got around to playing again.

If you have played max payne or dead to rights this game will feel very much at home for you. A revenge story setting you out to get revenge for your father the games story is very basic but gets the job done however what I didn't remember was how funny the game could be. It has a lot of humor and for the most part its funny enough.

The gameplay is very fun but can be annoying at times due to shooting games just never really being that good on PSP. But there is auto lock as you would expect and a few other ways to hard lock onto things. If you Hold L1 the game will auto aim you onto hazard items that can blow up like TMT boxes etc etc and if you hold R2 it will auto lock you onto enemies however if you hold R2 and time it perfectly you can get a 1 kill headshot on most enemies ( until they get head gear which will take 2 shots instead). Combine fun movement with fun skills and a decent variety of weapons to play with the combat is very fun when it works correctly.

My only complaint really with the game would be very random difficulty spikes and a terrible and I mean TERRIBLE final boss fight. This game won't change your way of thinking of gaming as a whole but it is damn well a good time and doesn't overstay its welcome.

If you can track down a copy for a fair price I say give it a go!

I enjoyed my time with this game ! I honestly think it was just okay by the end.

To get this first part out of the way this game has SO MUCH charm and feel good vibes with its OST , art style and story overall. Its a very simple game where you try to impress a girl through various mini games.

Now the mini games is honestly where this game loses most of its point because while there is a lot of charm and a lot to love about the vibe of this game the mini games can fall flat. While some are fine there are a handful that are just annoying and or borderline "why" primarily 2 unicycle games where you have to be VERY precise or you will fail. Theses 2 precision games were by the far the worst of the bunch and it made for a very unfun time. Past that there is a boss gauntlet leading up to the final boss fight but I don't understand why its just 3 boss fights recycled but a bit harder there could have been new mini games made for that gauntlet.

Either way this is a nice little game but just don't go into it expecting anything amazing if you do however want a game with a lot of charm this is a great game for you as its pretty darn cheap to buy still!
