So fun. It brilliantly serves as an introduction to the PS5 and dualsense controller while also implementing unique gameplay areas that all utilize the controller differently; which is so fucking cool. I can't get over how good it feels to walk on a beach, shoot a bow, pull an object or do literally anything; no matter how minuscule the action is. It's sad to see that this is the only game on the PS5 that has used the controller this effectively 2 years in, especially since it completely transforms the experience into something that is 10x more immersive.

I also love the fact that they made an entire room filled with Playstation items, so nostalgic.

Why do so many people seem to think that this is the holy grail of Ubisoft games? It's more repetitive than their most recent ones and people always bring up Vaas as the one saving factor when he's barely in the game and isn't at all a good character, his performance is the only memorable thing about him. Every single character is a raging stereotype and every piece of accompanying dialogue seems like it was written by a 14 year old that thinks they know how real people speak.

The story is no better, it has no sense of pace or complexity or nuance, the whole game is basically one giant fetch quest with the occasional "destroy this location" mission being thrown in. Act 2 was especially boring, of the missions that I can actually remember the ones where you have to find a compass and then its multiple pieces was some of the most boring shit I've played in a long time, same with that one mission at the end of the game where you have to sneak past a million guards without being detected, like how is that supposed to be fun? Who approved that?

The open world is horrible as well, the setting is just not fucking fun man... the terrain is a nightmare to traverse when you don't have the wingsuit which is for 2/3 of the game but by then it's too late because the game is almost over and you don't even get that many chances to use it if you're not specifically looking to use it. This game is just bland bland BLAND

So yeah, probably the worst Far Cry game.

There's not much to say about this game; it's incredibly dull and empty to the point where if you're 15% through, you've played everything the game has to offer so you're just slogging through the rest of it; especially if you're trying to get some of the more grindy trophies.

Why is this unfinished boring walking simulator with occasional jumpscares getting high praise and high ratings?
its better than dogshit like visage i'll give it that but a better turd is still a turd.

pretty fun until you realize you have to clean it up when you're done

After around 160 hours played, I finished almost everything I wanted to do with this game. Now I will only enter sometimes when I want some pokes to beat the Sinnoh league to get the Sinnoh Champion League Ribbon. Oh, and still have to complete the Pokédex in this game (I'm missing around 50 monsters) but so so many Pokémon games at the same time, I guess I will save that for another time.

Overall it was a lot of fun, there are tons of extra features like the Grand Underground or the Ramanas Park that makes it worth. It's not perfect and certainly not the best remake of a main series Pokémon game (so far nothing beats SoulSIlver/HeartGold), but I guess I understand as they were focus in the rest. Will Black/White remakes become the peak of remakes in the future? I hope so.

Just tried it for the Nintendo Reward points. Nice little puzzle vintage game, played for about 20 min. In general I'm not a big fan of all these puzzle games where you have to match all these colourful panels so I got bored fast, but I guess many will find this obsessing.

Very nice, nostalgic-looking fun little game for kids. I've just checked, didn't know it existed. I guess this would be very helpful also for those 60-70 year old boomers who are still having problems typing in keyboard and phones (hey dad).

I'm loving this game. I still need to finish everything, but it's fantastic so far. I feel sorry for all the hate is receiving, most of it gratuitous, I'd dare to say. When it comes to the already infamous bugs, those we have all seen on social media and whatnot are from people playing an earlier build or with an emulator. I have yet to get almost any bug or glitch (just very basic harmless stuff that doesn't spoil my fun), and I have more than 45 hours of gameplay.

Enough of that. Scarlet/Violet are great games. It adds a lot to the mainline series. To begin with, the actual open world feeling: It's a vast world. The graphics may not be perfect, but the immersion feeling is there: you and a significant portion of a planet full of monsters, and you can see them, and they have so many different personalities and ways of interacting. It's a lot of fun.

Second, the opportunity to go around that world with your legendary pokémon. Miraidon/Koraidon is an endearing beast; you really get to know it and grow fond of it. I love running, flying, climbing mountains and swimming with this awesome dude.

And finally, the multiple storylines. This probably is the best. I love having so many choices and being able to go to any Gym I want, not being ridiculously hand-holded as in the last three generations of games. And come on, they are good stories. It's interesting. I am invested in these characters and my journey.

I give it 4/5 just for the bugs issue and because it's about time they provide us with voice-over! I hope future patches will come and fix the problems. That will bring some justice to this groundbreaking title for the franchise.

I will share my review of Pokémon Violet here because after all they are the same game.

Fun but I'm too old for this good-reaction-time kinda thing.

I knew I was getting into a hard game when the first run & gun took me more than 30 tries. I was discouraged, but I just kept playing and now I consider myself pretty good at the game. I think I have just under 1000 deaths after just having completed the game. You can’t beat the art in Cuphead. So beautiful but at the same time sinister. It’s a cartoony world where everything wants to kill you. The game mechanics are pretty great too, although a lot of the upgrades are meh at best. I didn’t end up using half of them, but they all do have a purpose and suit a different play style. (Charge in particular, I have no idea how or why anyone would use that one.) The one complaint I have is that the overworld feels kind of lifeless. But with combat this nice, I don’t really care. Movement is so perfect and precise; parrying is incredibly satisfying. Honorable mention for the sound design and the soundtrack, which were flawless. (Notice in the credits that they hired a tap dancer). I would listen to the soundtrack by itself, but it was also integrated so seamlessly into the pause menus for an extra level of polish. The boss design was so rich and original. Djimmi was the most memorable boss for me in a game full of memorable bosses.

this game keeps kicking my ass but I'm too charmed by it to walk away
