Games for an occasion/tradition

These are games I like to play during or after specific amounts of time, often for a full playthrough or for a dedicated few days of multi-hour sessions. Occasions or traditions will be listed as notes. Games are arranged by time of year or frequency.

I try to make this game another one I play every year when I can, usually during the summer. I don't ever force myself to beat it, but it's nice to just go into and walk around in.
Resident Evil
Resident Evil
I try to replay RE1 in some manner (usually REmake) every couple Octobers when I can. I switch off from Jill to Chris and back again.
Cave Story

A very wintery-feeling game for me because of when I first beat it. I don't replay it every single year, but when I do I make sure it's during the cozy winter months.
Pokémon Card GB2: Great Rocket-Dan Sanjou!
Pokémon Card GB2: Great Rocket-Dan Sanjou!
A game I play from late spring to mid summer, this game brings back a lot of memories from when I played the hell out of it right around graduating from college. Lots of fun to try new decks every time I play!
Minecraft

I like to go into this game with someone close to me whenever a new major update comes out, as the game in general feels like a time capsule of sorts.
Pokémon Crystal Version

I try to replay Pokémon Vietnamese Crystal every year or so, and I always manage to find something new and weird with each run. Would highly recommend.
