A little overly simplistic gameplay. They introduced a few new mechanics to spice things up, but it's basically the same as previous games. Which isn't a bad thing. Gives gameplay a classic vibe while propelling the story and visuals into the modern age.

Kind of a slog compared to the previous two entries. While the gameplay remains engaging, the story basically revolves around telling character epilogues from the previous game, trying to link everything to future games.

Basically an expansion of the first game. Reused locations and assets. Still great.

Gameplay is very simplistic, as expected of an older game. Story is great, with a really fleshed out world. Can feel the passion in its development.

Bought a DS for this game only and then sold the DS when I was done. Best cart-racing game of its time.

Solid turn-based gameplay. Horrible voice-acting for most characters. Story was engaging.

Graphics were great, world was expansive, had cool themes. Gameplay was incredibly boring. Fishing was pretty dope, tho.

Incredible puzzle game. Excellent humor and voice acting. Loved it.

The game is highly stylized. Gameplay was engaging. Story was kind of generic, but enjoyable. Japanese pronunciations in the English dub were all over the place and honorifics were often flatout wrong. But overall, pretty good game.
