I'll start out here by saying that I've never really cottoned to puzzle games before this, and certainly not to sokoban styled ones, but this one got its hooks in me super hard in a way that I never could've imagined possible. It took multiple months and dozens of hours due to me being more thick-headed and stubborn than the norm, but I'm so glad I put up with all of the suffering and frustration the game threw my way because the synchronicity between story, gameplay and mechanics is just amazing, especially with regards to how exploration and progression work. Highly recommended if you like games with great stories, soundtracks and are willing to put up with intentionally frustrating and punishing mechanics in the name of a truly memorable experience.
Bravo, System Erasure, bravo.

Just competent and short enough to get through with a friend, but thoroughly (intentionally) unpleasant in every possible way that really sets it apart from the glut of post-Gears cover shooters, an unforgettable co-op experience. Also, killer dark ambient score by Mona Mur!

Gets far too grindy and hard for its own good after a bit, but man I'd be lying if I wasn't looping the Anamanaguchi score for this constantly in 2010

did you know one of the writers for this game did those funny dilbert youtube videos and was on the barkley gaiden team before 2 completely disintegrated? now you know. DLC one day tm

Played until hitting roughly 50% completion and then my hard drive reset and i lost all taste for completion in open world games as a result so, pretty good one of those imo.

the best virtua cop game in years
