One of my favorite games of all time. I'm not gonna sit here and pretend it's a masterpiece or anything but I love coming back to this game from time to time and seeing how fast I can beat it. Not to mention the killer soundtrack.

The Persona gameplay loop is inherently addicting. If you get tired of dungeon crawling, do some social stuff, and vice versa. Backed up by some of the best visual design period and almost arcadey combat it’s near impossible to put this game down.

For about half of the game it's a pretty decent beginner Fire Emblem until you get Ryoma and he singlehandedly destroys whatever difficulty was left.

The fact that this game holds up so damn well, has such brisk pacing, has so much content, and is polished to this degree is astounding. You could tell me this is the best game of all time and I'd have a hard time disagreeing.

a great little metroidvania but this game is about 3 hours longer than it needs to be. half the fun of metroidvanias is replayability but if the game is too long that's just gone

There are two good zones and the rest is just a decent platformer.

Even when not on the highest difficulty this game gets BRUTAL but that just makes it all the more satisfying when you come up with the perfect strategy to make sure nobody dies (looking at you chapter 10). Shame the story sucks

Does a better job at merging level to level Mario with open world Mario than Odyssey which is a HUGE accomplishment, shame it’s so short.
