The Cinematic Platformer Compendium (Distant Relatives)

A list heavily inspired by this old NeoGAF thread. This one is a smattering of games that don't quite fit the vibe of the "cinematic platformer", but feel similar enough that its worth mentioning. These include 2D action/adventure games with a slower pace, but not much platforming, games that have some "cinematic" elements but don't feel like proper "cinematic" platformers, and platformers that are a bit too "cartoony" or "arcadey", but still give off vibes you might appreciate if you like the genre.
