I think this might be the only survival game I enjoy.
The artstyle is so creatively unique it instantly stands out from the crowd, each character has its own survival quirk like for example; somthing simple like a guy who can grow a beard in winter to help keep warm or a guy with an unbreakable axe talking axe that if he doesn't keep chopping wood he'll go insane and turn into a giant wood eating beaver... Yup
Playing with friends makes this game 10 times more enjoyable, managing a camp together until a huge ass monster badger comes looking for food and all hell breaks loose.
Gameplay is Snappy and to the point. Whilst Keeping track of hunger, temperature and unique to this game your sanity; if your in complete darkness.. your screwed.
Always down to play this game. So enjoyable.

The peak of Gacha slop. Repetitive gameplay with a horrid Grindfest level system; your upgrades will need upgrades but to get these upgrades you'll need to upgrade the world and even then the upgrade recourses are set on "RNG" so most of the time the monsters won't drop what you need.
You'll be fighting the same 7 monster types every day to potentially get a single level on 1 peice of gear.
Then they'll dangle these average looking Anime characters to intice you to spend money on the lootbox system. They all have the same body type, hairstyle and there's only 2 darker skinned characters. Wow, what a bargain.

The game that keeps on giving.
Base story was generic; "You are the chosen one. Please save the world!" where this game really shines is the seemingly endless amount of side quests you can stumble on by just exploring the world.
Combat is surprisingly fun for the simple fact that it doesn't lock you to a specific class; want to be a magic welding archer? Done. what about a fists only medic? Hell yeah!
Don't even get me started with the endless amount of content that can be added with mods.

Story;
Makes no sense, characters don't care to explain to you how things work or where to go, just "Go and Become Elden Lord!" any game where you have to watch a story/lore video after the ending has failed in that department.
Gameplay;
It's Basically Dark Souls 4, so expect to die... ALOT. Not because the game is hard but because the combat system is slow and inconsistent, enimes can cancel their attack animations mid attack making their attacks random and unreadable. While you have to wait for your slow as shit attack animation to play out before you can dodge or parry.
Pros;
+Art design is beautiful, areas are like paintings .
+Music and sound design is epic especially the main theme
+lots of different weapons and spells to accommodate any playstyle
Cons;
- Some enimes are way too fast and deal too much damage even if your at a higher level.
- Quest system is dogshit, for example someone will ask you to deliver something but won't tell you where to. Aslo without any warning you can get locked out of quests by progressing the game. Why?
-Fuck Malenia
-Fuck Maliketh
Overall it's definitely worth a play but If your hesitant on soulslike games I would recommend Dark Souls 1 to start with, it's much more linear and to the point.

What more do you want? P5 is the best in the series by far, there's a reason why it's being milked so much. I can listen to "Life Will Change" on loop and not get sick of it that's incredible.
If I had to give a con; I did not like how quickly everyone forgave Akechi and after a couple hours they complety forgot about what he did or try to do. It felt like a huge retcon and doesn't make sense. Can you forgive someone who literally killed you and then attempted to kill your friends with no remorse? Lol

Played on PS5 druing release, game kept crashing every hour, basically had to time my saves to complete this game. Not to mention CD Project had the most extreme false advertising I've ever seen and did not deliver on what they promised, what we got was a broken mediocre dead open world with no memorable characters except for Panam only Cuz she's hot. Got a refund after I beat it. =P
