Well, 2K you lucky sum bitches. You've done it again. Another fucking solid WWE game.
It's like they're finally giving a shit about getting better every year now which I love. Everything great from last year is here with a lot of new epic stuff too.
And the added realism is so cool. Wrestlers ' face paints coming off during matches showing how goofy my CAW looks underneath is something I didn't know I needed.
Casket Match! YEP! Ambulance Match! AHHHH! Special Referee! FUCK YES! So glad we got Casket and Special Referee back. Just praying we get Buried Alive next year. And all three matches play great! I'm actually enjoying being a Special Referee online more than just wrestling. It's so much fun.
Showcase this year is....kinda wonky. I get why they did the 40 Years of WrestleMania but....not every WrestleMania is there. And it really suffers due to a lot of great wrestlers that were at WrestleMania are now in AEW and can't be in the game (Daniel Bryan, Chris Jericho, Edge just to name a few.) Seriously, guys. Make some sort of deal between the two companies to get these guys in future games. We miss them!
Also, the cut from gameplay to the actual match is kinda annoying this time. Mainly due to all the blurs in the archive footage. It really takes me out of it. Some of them being really unnecessary. Though I find it funny that Vince McMahon is blurred out in one cut-scene and yet is fully visible in another.
Yeah. Less said about him the better considering what's happened.
MyRise is fun again! Doesn't feel as gimmicky as the last year and feels more like a genuine storyline like Road to WrestleMania was in the Smackdown vs RAW series. I'm enjoying that so far.
Online however? It is so fucking broken. The servers are so laggy and getting a stable session is a real chore. Please fix it ASAP, 2K. Even Community Creations feels broken this year.
But overall, this game is fantastic. And it's another solid entry. 2K have outdone themselves over the last three years. Let's hope they keep this up for years to come. Wrestling games have never felt more enjoyable.

Oh my fucking god. Oh my fucking god. Oh my fucking GOD! This might be the greatest fighting game of all time! And it's definitely the best Tekken game ever!
Everything about this game is super epic. The graphics are superior from Tekken 7's. The story mode is insanely good! And Arcade Quest is so much fun.
The new Heat System works so well. And the Special Style's great for new and casual players. Such a great increase of accessibility and innovation. This game succeeded where Tekken 4 failed with innovation.
The music? Fucking epic. And I'm so happy they brought back classic tracks in the Story Mode. Holy shit! Story Mode was so good. Especially the Tournament chapters AND the Tekken Force Chapter (Operation Rebellion). That was so fucking awesome and I hope that becomes it's own mode in DLC or a future update.
Arcade Quest is great. It really makes you feel like a Pro Tekken Player. It's the kind of ego boost DarkSydePhil can feast on kek. But for me, it's pretty cool.
Super Ghost Battle? Well, I love a fucking challenge. Fighting Harada's ghost gave me serious SoulCalibur V PTSD. Hehehe!
Also, Tekken Ball. Great as always. More fun as Kazuya kek.

This is actually a really fun game. And even more epic if you're a Power Rangers fan.
The roster wins it for me. Shadow Ranger from SPD, Magna Defender, and the chance to get Mighty Morphing White Ranger as a skin for Tommy?! Let's go! Would have loved a Dino Thunder rep for the roster but it's still strong.

Played this for half an hour and deleted it. I just couldn't get into it because of how slow it was. So boring and bland. How the fuck is this at 30FPS on a PS5? Arkham Knight runs better than this crap.

This is the best Spider-Man game ever made. It tops the first one insanely. From the story, the visuals, to the web swinging. Everything about this is top fucking notch.
The main story had me on edge throughout the majority of playing it and it gave me in my opinion, the best version of Kraven we've ever had. He's such a beast in this game and I love him. Same for Venom too. Harry is just sick as Venom and I kinda prefer him over Eddie Brock, not gonna lie. (Suck it, Tom Hardy). And I love how they hype up the next game with Norman. Ooooooh! Shit's gonna get even more nuts when Goblin comes out to play. So hyped!
The two Spider-Men work great. I will say however, Miles to me is the superior Spider-Man out of the two. Peter is great with the symbiote and all but I found Miles to be more fun to play as. And his story was just brilliant in this. Peter had a good story too with Harry and MJ but I really enjoyed Miles' story more in my opinion.
However, Yuri Lowenthal gives an amazing, spectacular, ULTIMATE performance as Peter and he is so fucking good when the symbiote takes over. Channeling his inner Christopher Daniel Barnes and Josh Keaton, Yuri really unleashes his full raw talent as Symbiote Spider-Man. Such terrific voice acting and worthy of several awards.
The boss battles are way better in this game. They actually have health bars this time! Woo-hoo! And they're more strategic which I love. My favourite boss fight? Probably Lizard or Venom. They were awesome.
Speaking of Venom some more. HOLY SHIT! You actually get to play as him in this game for a mission and I am already begging for a Venom DLC right fucking now. That mission was amazing where you fight through Oscorp and beat the shit out of Kraven. So fucking good.
The suits are great as always. But I must admit...I'm kinda disappointed with Peter's. I am glad they kept some of my favourites from the first game and they added ones I wanted (Maguire's Black Suit, thanks Insomniac and the Classic Black Suit), I hate how so many of their slots are just filled with Tom Holland's suits. Did we really need all of them again? But I am glad they added Andrew Garfield's Amazing 2 suit! That is an awesome costume.
Also Spider-Verse Noir suit? Beauty.

I am absolutely enjoying the journey I'm taking on this game so far. The possibilities are limitless with your character and the choices you make along the way. Pure D&D at it's finest!

Ok so after giving this a go, I can say that this game is actually pretty damn decent. Don't get me wrong, it has a few problems but it definitely has room to grow.
The matches are great, the gameplay is fun and the controls are quite simple once you get used to them. My only issue with the controls is the timing with reversals and the time it takes to master them.
The roster's pretty solid but they are missing a few stars. And 3v3 would have been nice too.

But Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch is so much fun I love it! (And it has better explosions than the actual fucking match!)
The creative suite however is the most disappointing aspect. It is so limited and CAW's are gonna look so bland due to the lack of parts. It's a big let down.
Road to Elite is quite fun. I love a good season mode in wrestling games and Road to Elite is a welcome mode for that.

I absoultely loathe this game. I think out of all the Mortal Kombat games, this one is definitely the shittiest. The 3D gameplay just doesn't fit MK at all. I'm glad they went back to 2D with Mortal Kombat 9.
