One of the most miserable experiences I've had playing a video game.

I legitimately don't know what people see in this. It's difficult but not in a fun or challenging way, and it feels like it's taunting you the whole time. Playing with a second player makes it an even WORSE experience. People say that that's part of the charm, but if that's all it has, there's literally nothing here for me.

Never thought I'd see an open world game in an office building. This feels like a good step above Alan Wake gameplay wise, and visually it's a lot of fun.

Downsides are the checkpoints are way too sparse, difficulty spikes at a certain point, and I experienced some audio issues with the XBox Series X version where some sounds and audio weren't playing

Talk about the surprise of 2021! I thought I would never touch this game out of pure protest after seeing it over-advertised at E3 2021, Nintendo Directs, etc. But I walked away loving the story and characterization. I laughed a LOT playing this with my girlfriend.

The gameplay gets repetitive after a while, but the huddle buff and the elemental shots you obtain later on keeps things interesting for me.

It is by no means perfect, but if this is the future of the Tales series, it looks pretty damn bright.

While it still suffers from some glaringly rough edges towards the end, it's the best a Tales game has ever looked, sounded, and felt to play.

Immaculately designed, beautifully recreated a long-gone era of animation, but good lord in heavens is it DIFFICULT. Thankfully, it encourages you each time you fail to show you exactly how much you had left to go.

Couldn't have beaten it solo, my first few playthroughs were ragequit solo but finally beat them in co-op with a friend.

If this ever gets remastered/remade, the final mission needs to be fixed because it is hair-pulling levels of needlessly difficult.

Despite graphical limitations and the lack of voice acting, the changes to the mechanics of battling and catching Pokémon, coupled with a fun story make it feel new all over again.

If this is the direction Pokémon's taking, I'm here for it!

A damn near immaculate remake of a classic survival horror game. Marries all the elements I loved about RE1, RE4, and everything else that came before it into the what I feel is the perfect RE experience I'll have no qualms about playing again

This was my first ever Legend of Zelda game, and what a one to start on. Despite some of the temples having not so great pacing, the dark and somber tone of the story and atmosphere are arresting on each playthrough. I'd love to see Nintendo take this somber approach again one day.

This is easily my least favorite Yakuza game. While I enjoy the mechanical improvements the gameplay made and generally like some of the story arcs, it's bloated length sucks out the enjoyment of it all and it overstays it's welcome quickly.

Easily the worst of the mainline Pokémon remakes. On their own they AREN'T bad games, but when prior remakes offered more content and polish than just the same game with slightly better presentation and nothing else, something just feels missing.

Music is great, but it's not enough to justify ever playing this again for me.

A short-and-sweet addition to an already great game. Not only did we get some even more challenging Bugsnax to catch, we get more character development for some of the characters that show up later in the game, and a proper final boss!

Finally finished this after 6 years of putting it off. This truly was the culmination of how far Pokémon's presentation could be pushed on the 3DS.

That said, while I enjoyed the antagonists of the story immensely, I couldn't care less for the rivals this time around.

Despite some of its problematic elements, its absolutely gripping story, lovable main cast, bangin' soundtrack, and tight gameplay easily cement this as not only one of my favorite JRPGs, but one of my favorite video games period. No exaggeration.
