Kinda overhyped. Out of personal bias i was not tha impressed with the story cause it's pretty much just the plot of gurren lagann & guilty gear. It felt all too familiar for me. 70% of this expansion felt like filler with some really good spectacle at the end. still somehow one of the better expansions. after 400 hours i still wouldn't recommend ff14 to anyone unless you really had nothing else to do

Not gonna say its bad its a mix of a ton of already existing things and filled to the brim with features. That being said the game doesn't look bad, the voice acting is pretty terrible but i like its style & identity. feels alot faster and mobile than genshin, but imo it has too many copious amount of features/mechanics. character equipment, three weapons, each weapon having artifact like builds, upgradable gadgets, mounts, bond level being tied to traits bla bla bla. in the few hours i've played this game i have seen QTE's, On Rails Shooters, Surf sections, Racing sections, rythm games, football minigames, pvp it just goes on.

At the time of writing this the game is very pretty and innovative. It's still the classic clear room per room but theres a bunch of neat lil mechanics that make it stand out. The bosses in this game are godlike and the highlight of its gameplay imo. As it's only in early access still i won't bash on it but it has performance issues, aswell as impact sfx just not sounding good or powerful when you land them. Great potential
