This game feels incredibly modern in design for its time even if this is a remake, the core design is solid and timeless
It's a step above DQ1 and 2 in every way conceivable.
It's a game that gives me such a genuine feeling of being in an adventure and conquering every bit of its world and secrets is so satisfying in a way I cannot parallel to many other games besides maybe some of my favorite Zelda games.
I truly appreciate how well thought-out encounters feel in that game, all of them is a puzzle and the real addictive part of it comes from figuring out how to clear them as efficiently as possible.
That to me is the core of every good JRPG gameplay wise and exactly what made me want to get into Dragon Quest due to Chrono Trigger making me feel the same thing.
It shows its age in many areas and isn't a flawless game by any means, but I can only imagine how it must have felt like to play this on release

this is the definition of a game not aging well, everything it does is a step in the right direction from its predecessor yet all of it in unison makes it feel like a much more tedious experience nowadays due to being a lot less simpler and a lot more grindy.
it's a game that truly tests your patience but it's hard not to respect it for what it does nonetheless

the final dungeon giving me vile flashbacks of Portopia aside, this holds up incredibly well

This game's dedication in making every part of its world feel like a real lived place is outstanding, it's something I have always enjoyed about Final Fantasy as a franchise but this one particularly excels at just making you want to have your own adventure at your own pace
I've been fully on board with their vision of making more than a remake of the original story since the beginning but Rebirth truly fully sold me on the idea.
While not flawless by any means, it will be a long time until I encounter another game that feels this ambitious and for lack of a better word, "magical"

This game truly deserves more recognition, i'd even recommend it to non Bayonetta fans if it looks even slightly appealing.
This game feels like a mix of all sorts of games you already know but none are quite like it, it's also one of the prettiest game I have gotten to play

I gave it a honest try since I like its vibes so much but the truth, the honest truth is that I cannot find math fun

It's really not that good of a rhythm game but it oozes with charm.
works as a fun novelty nowadays but I really do wish I had grown up with it, just busting out a collection of CD at the time and trying to beat your score once in a while would have made for some incredible childhood memories

this game puts you in the mindset of just cutting through the bullshit, living in the moment and just having mindless fun and then hits you with That cutscene at the end and it just makes you go :)

one of those games that makes me feel like everyone working on it had a blast and that's always a good feeling

actually delivers on the promise of being a better take on Sonic Forces, it's a really impressive fan game that i'd recommend to every existing fans of boost Sonic gameplay

it doesn't do much but it's pretty interesting and fun for what it is
