JAN - APR / me being active on Enstars twt and playing this a lot surely did something negative to my psyche
FEB / didn't get very far due to sucking at the gameplay ! I don't like it
MAR - APR / Conquest proved itself to be a very distracting game to play during quarantine. Even in extremely easy diff because I'm a coward. I still like Laslow and Camilla along with a few others even if every character is INCREDIBLY corny
APR / playthrough watching on the 1st April (funny date). Masterpiece. Proud to be french if only because this game was made by a french guy
APR / having fond memories of playing this between sessions of FE Conquest during quarantine. I like Ryobi, her older sister who I forgot the name of, and Hanabi. I think I kinned Imu as well... let that sink in
MAY / didn't beat it but played a good 20hrs

JUN / another quarantine game. A bit batshit. Very good. Victor and Victoria were my faves along with Tiz (hes just like me...)
JUL / I prefer it over BD somehow. Terribly charming and inspiring
late JUL / looking on the eShop for game demos to fill the empty hyperfix slot in my brain after the Bravely phase led me to DL the EO demos. I did NOT guess that would be a life-changing decision. Anyway I was lucky enough to find both EOV and EOIV at my local retro game store a few days after beating their demos, and though I started with EOV I quickly put it in my backlog. Nowadays I still didn't beat the 3rd stratum boss. What was my favourite entry at first is now the one I like the least by far. It's too traditional fantasy-like for my tastes. I'll properly play it and have an incredible time nonetheless in the far future still
AUG / I have very good memories of playing it during my yearly two-week long vacations at Palavas (which were super enjoyable in comparison to previous years, both because of EOIV and the actual vacations). My party skill builds SUCKED and my maps were UGLY but I had a lot of fun ! Played it all month and spent 200 turns fighting the final story boss, lol
SEP / played the apple arcade version around the time where school restarted. I was super glad I bought an ipad the month prior lmao. It was fun!
SEP / had the very stupid idea of beating a boss a day for the two first weeks of the new school yeat in story mode/picnic diff. Actually beat the final story boss in november when I got super sick. The party members' dynamics were very entertaining but since it was a rushed run I ultimately didn't learn a lot about the game itself
SEP-OCT-NOV / I got lucky enough to find it alongside EO1U at the same retro game store I got IV/V from, for my birthday too ! I booted both of them when I came back home and ended up largely prefering EO1 over its arguably better in every way remake. What followed was me spending around one hour daily for three months and dying a lot, until beating the final story boss. I almost got no attachment to my guild from this game and did not develop them in my head like my other EO's guilds, but the almost moronically hard and rough gameplay probably activated something in my brain which in turn made me a bit addicted to an otherwise bad game lol. Shoutout to the two people who translated the game in French in 2008 or 2009, I can't help but wonder if french kids played this trash back in the days sometimes and then I get a bit sad.
SEP / I bought it along with EO1 for my birthday, found EO1 funnier looking, and lent my EOU cartridge to my best friend in an attempt to share the brainrot. She didn't reach the 5th stratum due to skill issue (while playing in picnic diff) and gave it back to me months later which pains me a bit. She would have loved Lost Shinjuku [sighs]...
OCT-NOV / masterpiece ! Can't wait for the DLC !!
NOV / hitted a roadblock against the 2nd boss rather quickly. I got back to it in march of the following year
NOV / why is this game my favourite EO entry despite being the worst one
DEC / every year or so I get the uncontrollable urge to re-dl IMAS CGs for a bit. It's a ritual at this point
DEC / who spent an absurd amount to get this game physically ? It's meee... I don't regret it at all because it's an incredible game and incredible EO entry tho
DEC / played a bit during christmas time. I found it very charming but didn't went very far for whatever reason
