A very engaging platforming game with stunning visuals.

While the gameplay is smooth and the exploration quite fun, the game's biggest downside is its combat, which is pretty much nonexistent. The game has no actual boss battles and the rest of the normal mobs can be ignored for the most part.

Ori 2 is a direct sequel to the first game and kept most of what made it good, improved and added to it.

Stunning visuals, smoothing gameplay and, while quite challenging, very fun platforming.

The biggest improvement to the game though was the combat. While Ori and the Blind Forest had literally no boss battles and the overall combat was forgettable and somewhat pointless, Ori and the Will of the Wisps had very engaging combat with great boss battles.

Stunning visuals, great graphics, very good and engaging combat and exploration, this game has everything that makes a metroidvania great.

As for the story, while morbidly sad and despairing, it's honestly a very beautiful and touching story.

100% recommended, I would love to play a sequel of this.
