Evolva is a great game that I think has aged very well, and that is thanks to the fact that it knows its limitations. One of the big things that makes me say this is the way you can order each Genohunter around, each command is basic but it gives away the path to try different strategies depending on how you want to position them.

The second thing is that the A.I is not perfect, but the developers took this into consideration. The game has mini screens that show what each Genohunter sees in real time, and whenever the A.I is having troubles this screen will flash repeatedly, signaling to the player that they need a bit of help to move around, this helps a lot in some levels since at time your team will have to separate.

The combat is super simple and I'll admit a bit tedious, but is fun most of the time, and the different enemies pose a good challenge.

The coolest mechanic is of course the evolution of the Genohunters, it happens in real time and you have to take in account the cost/benefit of each one, but most of the time is good in the end and looking at your characters slowly change in appearence as the game progresses is, again, cool.

And lastly one of my favorite parts is the ambientation, the world and creatures feel truly alien and weird, that added to the fact that you can very much tell the "early 2000's aesthetic" in the modeling and texture, top that is some amazing music that immediately tells you taht you are in a hostile planet, and this game just sells itself to me that easy.

A true masterpiece, fantastic from it's artistic presentation and gameplay, easy to pick up and rewarding to master, with a colorful world just begging to be explored. The story is simple yet full of both comical and emotive moments, especially at the end, the final boss is one of the best I've ever encountered in gaming, taking advantage of everything you've learned so far, not to mention the incredible music. This is a game everyone should try at least once on their lifetime.

Massive improvement in every aspect compared not only to Undertale but also from the previous chapter

I'll admit that my five star rating is due mostly to nostalgia, it is far from perfect if compared with other Monster Hunter games, especially if you want to get introduced to the series. However, if you want a taste of "classic" or even so called "old" Monster Hunter, this is the most polished title out of the bunch, what Demons Souls is to the From Software titles to put it some way. Very hard to fully master with extremedly difficult missions in the higher ranks, plus some unfair hitboxes, it can take a while to learn the proper movement to hunt in this game, but if you play it A LOT like I did back in the day you start to see the little opening some montsers give you.
Still, this is a very hard game that I only recomend if, like me, you have any nostalgic attachement, if you're up for a fairly elevated challenge, or want to experience "vintage" Monster Hunter

Provides a journey that feels like a truly spiritual experience, it all fits perfectly into the game's narrative and story, which is told beautifully. Even if short, you actually feel all what this game provides you every time you replay

Probably the best and most convenient way to experiment the classic SMB games

I'm very, and I mean, VERY bad at fighting games, this one included. Yet, I had a blast with this one no matter how much I lost, maybe is the music, scenarios or charismatic characters, or maybe thinking that I can get a bit better with every new fight. Did I get better? I doubt it, but it was so much fun to play anyways

I really like how this game looks and plays, but is tremendously short. Is a fun run but you can easily 100% in one sitting

Best story and themes, the Pokedex has some pretty odd looking mons but most look very nice once you get used to them, lots of places to explore for this franchise and fantastic soundtrack. This is where objectively the mainline Pokemon games peaked

One of the best games for the GBA, the amount of stuff to do is massive, my favorite Pokedex out of all the gens. Story is not that good honestly but the journey is worth it

Has a lot of charm, but is a product of it's time, which means some things are still very fun while other don't. I personally like the changes in gameplay across the game, the cute cartoony artstyle in an adult setting is always a fun contrast to me, but some mechanics are very hard to control and in certain points the difficulty spikes a bit too much or it gets a bit annoying. Still a fun run for the most part.

Finally finished this game for the first time, it is a very hard one and you will die A LOT, the enemy placement can be a bit infuriating sometimes, but I kept coming back for the presentation. The way this game looks and sounds has nothing to envy to some old time gothic horror movies, from it's presentation untill the very end, is amazing how they managed that on the SNES. The bosses are hard as hell but the more you die the more you memorize their patterns untill eventually you get a good strategy to finish them.
It suffers a bit from taking a lot from the previous games in the franchise, those being enemy placement and movement, but a lot of things are improved, swinging the whip is very fun.
Not a game that everyone whould have the patience to finish but that I personally really appreciate it's exectution, infurating flaws and all.

Is a shame that the SNES version cut off some content, still this is some good old shmup with colorful and funny stages, it also has the appropiate Gradius level difficulty.

Is a Disney themed party game for kids, it does it's job well and that's it, nothing too extravagant but not TOO mediocre either

I have a "tradition" to 100% this game at an average of once per year. In some aspects is pretty superior to other platformers from it's era while it lacks in some aspects compared to others. I'm not sure if it has aged as well as I think but is very fun to play once you get used to the movements and the surprising speed in which you can finish a level.
This is a classic for sure and one of Rare's best games from that time, flaws and all; level designs is colorful and fun, music is sublime and characters are full of personality, the final boss fight is long and hard but a learning experience that becomes very rewarding when beaten.
I just love this game a lot and is such a breeze to play every time for me.
To close I'd like to recommend the XBox version a bit more for first time players, since it adds some quality of life improvements.
