This was probably the most interesting fnaf game so far because it plays more like an actual game. Having the real fnaf experience locked behind a hidden ending is kino. The actual office mechanics are the best in the series once you unlock them, since both the ennard mode is fun and the custom mode with hotkeys is super snappy. Some of the voice acting and jokes suck though.

It can be a slog at times, but every R07 work is like that to be honest. Ciconia in particular is the one of the longest things he ever wrote, so it can be noticeably slow - mainly in the first half.

Ciconia introduces its entire cast simultaneously really early on, and uses the first half to give everyone at least some surface level development. For what its worth I think every character ended up being pretty likeable by the end of it, but I'd hope that the next parts of Ciconia don't introduce too many new characters. Umineko took that route and a lot of them ended up lacking anything substantial. The second half helps to flesh out some characters a little more, but its mostly concentrated in the beginning.

The second half of Ciconia is a lot more action, and I liked it significantly more. It has a large focus on geopolitics and the global situation breaking down due to tensions and "natural" disasters. If you can make it through the slow beginning, this absolutely makes it worth it.

Probably my favorite part of Ciconia was just trying to piece together the lore and history of the globe, since only some scattered hints and pieces are given throughout it. I made a map in MS paint of the various alliances while I read to try to comprehend it a little better, and it honestly made the first half a lot more enjoyable for me.

Ciconia is also home to some of the best written scenes in the entire WTC series. Ciconia's ending is legitimately the best thing he has ever written and its not even close. It has the perfect combination of aesthetics, music, contrast, etc that it's impossible to put into words how great it is. There's a bunch of other fantastic scenes as well, such as the meat factory and restoring the planet's dignity, but the ending definitely takes the cake. I would argue Ciconia is worth reading for these scenes alone. The ending is a cliffhanger too, adding a lot more to its mysteries and opening up a ton more questions.

Upon finishing Ciconia, a bunch of bonus scenes are unlocked that are essentially slice of life scenes for the primary 6 characters. It's small but it honestly does a lot to make me like the main cast. Definitely worth reading, as it genuinely contains the most fun scenes in Ciconia.

Overall I think Ciconia set a great precedent despite it's slow start. I'd love to read the next chapter of it when he decides to finish it in a million years.

It essentially has the same exact gameplay loop as fnaf 2, but the fact that it's all audio cues makes it a lot more annoying to play since you need to focus more. I need to give it credit for at least being more reactive than 2, but at the end of the day you're still basically doing the exact same gameplay loop for 6 minutes again. I'd argue that the Fredbear sections are the most interesting since at least it has probably the most reactive gameplay. The cutscenes/minigames aren't as good as 3 either. Plushtrap is a stupid mechanic too. This game is honestly saved the most by having only a 6 minute timer, if it was as long as fnaf 1 or 2 then it'd easily be the worst.

Every fnaf game is honestly insufferable to play, but this is probably the least painful one since the nights are only 6 minutes (which seemingly left a good precedent). Only one so far that didn't feel like a total miserable slog after night 3. The minigames are goated and springtrap looks cool. It does what 2 wanted to do but correctly.

the gameplay has way more micro when in reality you just need to do the same exact motion for 8 minutes straight. Genuinely can be painful to play because of it. People act like this one is complex, but the mechanics all restrict you to just doing the same formulaic motion without any leeway. It ends up having the least variety because of it.

this game sucks ass and is super boring. the lore is the only good thing. If the nights were 6 minutes instead 9 it'd be significantly better. You have to give it credit for how iconic it was at the time, but it definitely isn't fun to play, especially if you don't know the formula. I do respect its aesthetic though, it was revolutionary when it came out. Maybe too revolutionary cause all of those clones suck ass

Genuinely the best 2d mario, though I do wish it had some more difficult levels. There's around 2 or 3 tough ones in the special world and that's about it.

It's alright. The voice acting is really good and the artstyle is cute + maintains Ryukishi's good expressions (which is definitely the best part of his own art). Aside from that though it's pretty unimpressive. The dichotomy of cutting between SoL scenes and people being executed is funny but it wears thin after the first 4 or 5 times (the game seems self aware of this, since it stops after around 6 or so). The character's motivations for hating each other are retarded and none of them are particularly great. Some of the lines are really funny though.

The anime version of this arc was really brutalized, the original VN version is significantly better. This is easily one of the slowest question arc though, and I think the SOL scenes are just alright considering how long they last here. I'd say the point where they start investigating Rika's house is where this arc gets really good, but until then it's definitely sluggish (though I still liked it). This is one of Keiichi's dumbest arcs as well, but I give him some leeway. The phonecall with Shion towards the end is the first really great WTC scene, imo, and it stays pretty strong throughout the rest of it. The ending is really interesting for theorizing if you know nothing about the series yet.

Honestly lays a great foundation for future pokemon games' gameplay, but gamefreak never seems to want to stick with a good formula. This game is ugly as sin but overall plays very well and has some of the best new pokemon designs in a while. (A flamingo pokemon named flamingo minus one letter? peak.)

I only did the blue lions route. zased

Honestly mid. Open world doesn't suit mario as a genre. Easily the worst mario game to 100% ever, instead relying on you to randomly play it for a few hours. Lacks the flashiness of any of the previous games so moons aren't even fun to collect. The only thing it has going for it are controls.

Galaxy 1 if it was epic. Has a much higher quantity of fun levels, overall more fun mechanics, and just quicker gameplay. There's much more level variety instead of having 8 stars in some levels like Galaxy 1. The green stars in this game are a much more fun postgame, though some may think its frustrating and the cutscenes can really bog it down.

Really good foundation for Galaxy's mechanics, but I don't think 1 is that great honestly. Has the highest quantity of medicore levels, and to truly 100% the game you need to beat it twice as Luigi, and its exactly the same.
