A lot of people think very poorly of this game, but I think it is actually much better than its predecessor. As a casual player, it is extremely easy to build beautiful & realistic cities in this game -- and the quality of life improvements (road tools, zoning, utilities, etc.) over the previous game are far cleaner than mods could previously provide. ... Also, many people complained of a performance bug around the game's release... but toying around with the settings for about five seconds (disabling and re-enabling AMD sampling) fixed the issue immediately.

This game has aged like wine. The DLC have made this game much better (although they have caused some major stability issues)... Hopefully the seventh installment of the franchise will finally allow players to have massive (50+ civ) maps without stability issues--

Easily the second best installment in the franchise

Must play. - Online (like in all rockstar games, IMO) is boring... but the story is a work of art.

A wonderful game for the time -- but the engine quickly showed its limitations as the scope of the game grew -- Hoping the second game is a worthy successor.

A great strategy game all around... though it suffers from some performance issues that you would not expect from a game like this. The math can be frustrating, and (at higher difficulties) the game can be unforgiving, but it is a great challenge and it taught me a great deal about loss. (lol)

Unpopular opinion, I like this game. The war mechanics are stupid, sure... But I think this game has a long way to go -- With some more incentives and some major balance changes, I think this game could have a great deal of re-playability.

Worth reading if you enjoy the anime.

It's Minecraft... I don't have much else to say.

A very good story, and I avoided most technical issues with my specs at launch, so I have no complaints there.

Too much to do, not enough story to encourage me to actually go and do it.

I remember when this game came out-- What a time .
