Not the worst game ever, but as far as action-based survival horror goes, it doesn't really do it for me. I'm surprised to say I enjoyed Dead Space 2 more, especially given how much more action-y it is, but here we are and here I am saying as much.

Maybe it's just me, but all the attempts at jump-scares and ambushes felt extremely obvious to me and it seemed less so in DS2. Love the weapons, either way.

Not much to say other than that the theme song rips off the music from the chorus of "Junk Boy" -- the closing credits song from an older anime series. It's uncanny.

I never beat this, though I've always wanted to. As someone who enjoys using my ammo frivolously though, this wasn't the game for me. This would probably be both "Completed" and a higher rating if it weren't for respawning monsters. Still might give it a go again, someday.

The first Poker Night was pretty funny for a little while. This one just didn't really get there for me at all.

I've labeled this game as "Abandoned" and the score as such due to a crash in the game that I thought would just set me back shortly, but apparently resulted in my save data being corrupted for the game. It wasn't exactly a thrilling game, either way.

It's a bad game. It's a convoluted and bad game. It's still better than some of the chaff out there. Not even near the worst game ever made.

Insanely and unfairly difficult. Tenaciously dumb kid me got there, though. A fun idea as far as vertical-scrolling shmup-ish type games go, but ultimately not worth the hassle.

Imagine Tetris, only bad and not really Tetris. That's Tetris 2. Glad I could help you inform your decision.

Pretty basic as far as Infocom IFs go. It's probably one of the easiest of their library of games, but not very interesting. Throw a dart at an Infocom Interactive Fiction game and you'll probably find something better (unless your dart lands on Ballyhoo).

I love mini golf. I did not love this, even as a kid.

I love the original Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers. This game may or may not have been good, but I couldn't get past how absolutely dreadful the voice acting was that I eventually just had to abandon it.

I like some of the characters. The sphere grid system is fun and innovative. I don't really get everyone's love for this game -- I feel like the biggest thing it brought to the table was essentially creating the blueprint for the nearly straight-line walkathon that was FFXIII. Still, it's leagues better than that, if nothing else.

Well, it's not Silent Hill: Homecoming. It's about on par with Downpour, but for different reasons...and that's not really saying much after the glory days of 1-4.

Just noting that I managed to get stuck in what was essentially a softlock sequence in the game and saved like an idiot afterwards. The end result was having to abandon the game or start over. It might have gotten better, but I didn't feel like I was invested enough to play for two hours to get back to where I was before. Your mileage may vary.

At least with AC2, I just got kinda bored with the game. One of the first features I was greeted with early in the game was people spawning a few feet off the ground and then dropping into place before continuing their walking paths. It only went downhill from there.
