Starfield is the first new IP from Bethesda in nearly three decades which has finally landed. And the conclusion is that this is definitely a Bethesda game, whether that is good or bad is entirely up to the individual player. I have always been a fan of their previous works except for Fallout 76, so I can say that I had a relatively positive experience with this game. But it has definitely dawned on me now that it doesn't really matter what IP you're playing from Bethesda because you're always going to be having a very similar experience. And that is my biggest problem with this game, it's way too safe. So even though I liked playing through this game, it felt like I had played this game many times before, because I have. Now the game looks really good, for the most part. Planets that have a distinct location look really great and very cool. But the thing with Starfield is that you can land on virtually any planet available which are over 1000, in more than 100 star systems. But even though this sounds incredible, it's not. Because a lot of these planets are very dull and have literally nothing to tell them apart from other planets, except for maybe terrain but there are many different planets with the same terrain. So exploring these different planets pretty much boils down to mining materials which I don't find very fun.
Animations, and here I'm mainly talking facial are a hit and a miss. They can sometimes look good, but at other points look absolutely awful and very robotic. This makes interacting with characters feel very uncanny valley and I had a hard time to connect with them.
Gameplay is very cut and dried. There is gunplay and melee combat which feels pretty nice, but nothing groundbreaking. It kind of just feels like a slightly better Fallout, but even Fallout had the V.A.T.S. system to make things a bit interesting. The story is very boring to begin with but kind of picks up as you go along, which makes it just kind of mixed overall. The side questlines though were a lot more interesting, so much so that I completely got lost in them and completely forgot there was a main quest. There is also one more issue I'd like to discuss and that is the menus. They are absolutely awful, it's so unnecessarily confusing to navigate, and there is no local map which can make traversing bigger cities such a hassle. Now this review may sound like it's on the negative side but I really did enjoy this game, I sunk about 65 hours into this game and I was never really bored during that time, but I don't really have an incentive to continue. It all boils down to this being a Bethesda game through and through, and even though I'm a little disappointed that they didn't really innovate at all, it had been almost 8 years since I last got to enjoy this type of an experience with Fallout 4. If you weren't a fan of Bethesda's previous titles then this game won't win you over. If you were however a fan of their previous titles then you will most likely also enjoy this one.

I love games from Larian and Baldur's Gate 3 is no exception.
A truly amazing game, and a testament to what you can achieve when you have passion and the desire to create something masterful that will grab and hold anyone whom plays it. This is a game that is worthy of your time, and that is a great thing as you will be spending lots and lots of time in this glorious game.

I dont see what is special about this game.
There are games that look better and games that sound better, so what makes this one a cut above the rest that it actually won awards?
I bought it for 20$ on sale and finished it in 1 hour and after that i never touched it again, it feels like a waste, i never found any engaging gameplay or good levels to explore or a touching story to experience, all i found was pretty visuals and decent music.
I find it disappointing to realize that gamers are so eager to have artsy works in the medium, this game is a clear example of making art just for the heck of it, no aim, no goal no meaning just pretty visuals and music and call it art, its even more disappointing to realize this was showered with praise and awards from journalists all over the internet, over actual good video games.

Since this is a free to play game i decided to give it a try. I can say this is not for me, i found the menu clunky to navigate and too bloated right from the get go.
The songs are bad and the controls didnt work for me, after less than an hour i decided to uninstall this, maybe its a good fan mod for people who like games like Guitar Hero, but as a game its not inspired or creative.

Atomic Heart is a mixed bag, the game clearly had interesting vision but fell apart at some point.
The game has great art direction that makes you stop and admire the visuals, it has good music that ranges from classic bits to techno and house music, it has fun gameplay when you start to upgrade and acquire abilities, it has fun bosses to battle and it runs crisspy smooth.
But it also has very poor writing which wouldn't be a problem if the game didnt constantly shower you with it, the characters are all unlikable and lack any interesting personality, the low enemy variety starts to become bothersome late into the game and the gunplay doesnt feel satisfying enough.
The open world is tedious and has nothing worthy to explore, the best part of the game is when you are inside polygons because the characters shut up and the puzzles are interesting to solve, plus you get good rewards, thats where the game peak.
The game can also get buggy which wouldnt be a problem to me if it had depth to its interactivity to counter that but sadly it doesnt.
For a first time attempt the developers got many things right but they also have a lot more to learn and improve upon.

Its alright i guess, i dont feel robbed after finishing it so i guess its not bad.

Dishonored is honestly a masterpiece, it has incredibly fun gameplay with a lot of different options on how to approach the game, amazing level-design quality that offers high replay value, gorgeous aesthetics and art direction, amazing atmosphere and immersion, good story and a lot of lore to dig into and the game still holds pretty well graphically.
It's almost bugfree and has two good DLCs that explore the game further from different perspectives.

Dishonored gives the player a lot of agency through gameplay and choice and consequences, your choices are implemented not just through picking dialogue but also through gameplay choice and side quests that change the world and its endings.

Dishonored is easily one of the best games of all time and its Arkane studios top work to date.

I never played this old classic but i decided to buy it and try it for the first time.
This game is so boring, its very slow and tedious, battles take so long. From the time i played all i was doing is battle and reading dialogue story, the gameplay is slow and shallow.
Maybe i will come back for another try but i think i wasted money on this, dont want to also waste more time on it.

The good old days, the soundtrack still brings so many memories.

Fallout 4 is better
