"True" Fixed Camera Games

For people like me who are really into the fixed camera style.

The best case for fixed camera is the fact that almost every game that tried it is RAW

Note: There may be errors on this list. Please tell me if I accidentally put a game without a proper fixed camera in this list, or if I'm missing a game.

only including 3D games with proper "still" fixed camera that only moves to switch perspectives (e.g. Resident Evil 2). Pre-rendered backgrounds count (and are a large portion of this list). Isometric games don't count. year and original platform release is listed in the notes section. Camera moving in cutscenes is okay.

some games were released for multiple platforms at seemingly the exact same time. in these cases, if the game has an initial PC release, that will take precedence over the rest of the platforms. in other cases, the first console listed on wikipedia (or whatever other source i'm using) will be used instead, though i try my best to avoid this and figure out if there is even a small difference (even a day) between platforms

Chronological list of games based on original platform:

Honorable Mentions:
--Walk 散歩 - Pure vibe, very unsettling little arthouse indie game. Has one specific scene where the camera continually moves (without the player's control).
--RE1 Remake - Perfect swan song to end the fixed camera era. Looks fantastic to this day. Only reason it's not on this list is because it has some minor scrolling segments.
--Silent Hill series - Probably the most acclaimed fixed camera games, especially the second one. Obviously the Silent Hill style camera is a bit different from the scope of this list.
--Signalis - Looks fantastic. Incorporates a scrolling fixed camera.
--Resident Evil 0 - Honestly really close to making it. Has some mild scrolling like with the RE remake
--Carriers - Wanted this on the list so bad. Having a Dreamcast exclusive would be so hype. Sadly, it just misses the mark.
--Soul of the Samurai - Cracked and raw but it moves
--Aconcagua - looks kind of mid but its close
-- Disney's Magical Mirror Starring Mickey Mouse - Again, an unfortunate loss for the list. Had this on here because I sort of considered a lot of the camera movement to be during "cutscenes," it was an edge case. Unfortunately, there are some moments in the game where just walking around causes the camera to move. It would've been the first (and only?) Gamecube entry.

Random Notes:
- PC entries are almost exclusively Western releases, and console entries are almost exclusively Japanese releases. Notable that every entry besides Welcome House was a PC game made in the West before the release of Resident Evil.

- PC and PlayStation have the lion's share of entries. Out of 68 entries, only 7 are from other platforms.

- I think it's important to note the eras each game was created in. Pre-Resident Evil entries are marked by being either Alone in the Dark clones or wildly experimental. After the release of the first Resident Evil, the amount of Alone in the Dark clones slowed and by the time Resident Evil 2 released, Resident Evil was the dominant influence in the scene. That said, there are still a lot of oddball entries to take note of.

- I desperately tried to find anything that predates Alone in the Dark, but so far it seems that it truly was the original. It took 2-3 years for anything similar to come out that wasn't from the same developer. Incredibly ahead of its time for 1992.

- The atari jaguar had a fixed camera game before the playstation... food for thought
