i wish freya was real. absolute cinema

being massively overrated doesn't take away from how genuinely fun it was. no matter how frustrating it got and no matter how much some design elements just did not click with me i kept coming back for as many hours as i did. i went into this game thinking i'd hate it after years of forming pre-conceived notions as to why i would, and, honestly? i wasn't wrong. none of my past feelings were invalidated, i just discovered an equal amount of good in it when i finally decided to give it a shot.

i really wish i listened to my demons and used the rewind feature cause that did not feel as rewarding as i thought it would

jill armpits dean ambrose style WITH ZEB?

this game messes up in the same way the first 2 sonic games do (the only ones i've played and the 2nd one being the only one i beat lol), punishing you for going fast; despite the whole point of the game being that you go fast. admittedly being inspired by the series the developer sadly captures that part of the games as well. this is basically 4 reviews in 1, the 2 sonic games and the 2 toree games. thankfully, the sequel to this game; "Toree 2" fixes this. Toree 2 is so so much better, it lets you be fast but is still challenging where it needs to be, and it proves there's a bright future for our lil birb
also, in hindsight, i wish they named this game something other than 3D cause having a 3 in the first game then 2 in the sequel trips up my tiny brain sometimes when i'm looking into the series but it's fine :3
