THPS is rough, especially after playing some of the next games in the series, but it’s still an iconic game with an amazing soundtrack and replaying it was definitely fun.

(Completed 100% as Tony Hawk only, will revisit once I get a physical copy.)

It’s as much fun as it is short. Over the top non-stop violence with some of the most satisfying gunfights ever. The new game plus with maxed perks made me feel like a semi-god.

I haven’t played the first Uncharted in ages and I wasn’t excepting it to be this hard. The game really punishes you in some chapters, even in Normal. Otherwise the story is good and the characters are great, but the overall gameplay felt clunky and unpolished at times.

It’s a good game, but it didn’t aged very well and is definitely not as good as its two sequels.

Always been intrigued by this game and finally got it for less than 2€ on the eShop, which is a steal honestly.

Gato Roboto is a short, very condensed and charming Metroidvania game, with a great humor and a top-tier 1-bit style. It can be quite challenging at times but also very rewarding, and it took me less than 5h to complete 100%.

My first console was the PS1 and my most played games back then were Colin McRae Rally and Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX, hands down. These games will always have a special place in my heart, and playing a 2009 game with all these people inside made me feel so nostalgic from that era.

Colin McRae Dirt and Dirt 2 are both great racing games, probably my favorites in this genre, and it felt amazing revisiting them. It's just getting too repetitive for my taste so I'm putting them aside for now, but still, I've spent countless hours into them lately.

RIP Colin McRae, Dave Mirra, and Ken Block.

Bowser's Inside Story is an excellent game overall, with a ton of great ideas. It uses all the NDS features incredibly well throughout the story, and has very nice visuals as well as a great soundtrack (the final boss music goes super hard). The game also constantly renews the gameplay so I didn’t get bored at all during my playtime. Showtime!

I can't believe I skipped this one back in the day. I used to play Zombies occasionally with a friend but never did the campaign until today. And it was actually very good!

The only time I've played a Resistance game was Retribution on the PSP, so I went into this one completely blind. At first, I had a hard time getting into it (maybe due to completing Killzone 2 a few weeks before) but once it clicked I kinda enjoyed it for what it was : a cool but forgettable launch title for the PS3. It was fun enough to get me entertained until the end.

2008

Pretty cool game with a strong 2000s vibe. I feel like it kinda went under the radar back in the day, but playing it nowadays was actually super fun. Or may I say pure fun. I just got sucked in for the past few days, it’s quite short but also very addictive. Solid ATV racing game imo.

One of the very first games I got for my 3DS, and also one of my favorite back then. Replaying it on PS3 was a great experience!

Killzone 2 does everything better than its predecessor. It’s non-stop fun from start to finish, and it’s visually quite impressive for the PS3. The level of details in this game is insane.

2007

This one might be one of the best skateboarding games ever made. Revisiting it after all these years still blew my mind. Everything is so well crafter and cruising around trying to find new spots feels incredible. If I had to choose a game to play endlessly it would be this one.

(Not completed 100% but won all the major events, got the two magazine covers, and will definitely come back to it at some point.)

Really thought I'd give up on this one, but I completed the campaign anyway. Overall it's an okay game with a lot of flaws (unprecise gunplay, bland levels, etc), but still manages to be fun sometimes.

Solid gameplay, great soundtrack and doesn’t look that bad for a 2001 game.

(Completed 100% as Tony Hawk only, will revisit later.)

I always avoided the MGS franchise and thought it was overrated, but playing this for the first time in 2024 made me realize how dumb I was. It’s such an incredible game even with today’s standards. I’m now in love with the series.
