tough as nails, but you'll see it through because it is so stunningly presented and masterfully crafted: I genuinely adore it

a really shoddy port of a game that has aged surprisingly poorly - the combat really, really sucks

genuinely incredibly fear inducing, but really overstays its welcome

why was the story like that though (intended as a compliment)

probably the most difficult platinum trophy I've ever completed. I felt like I was on the verge of death as every minute passed. good game

really good, simple explosive fun (only on PS5 where the performance is stable, otherwise it too often feels like a hot mess)

the story is so absolutely bat-shit self indulgent nonsense (big fan of Kojima, by the way) but once you're hooked on that sweet, sweet gameplay loop...

I don't think the souls-like nature brings anything worthwhile to this and the in-game map is probably one of the worst I've ever seen but there is still a lot to enjoy here

easily created some of the best moments I've ever had playing video games online which is a shame because it's also easily most of the worst moments i've ever had playing video games online

my favourite 'world' I've ever had the joy of playing in, wonderfully touching story and killer score by Woody Jackson

one of the best paced FPS campaigns of recent memory, a total blast

surely the funniest video game of al time?

got a massive soft spot for this one thanks to its beautiful world and music, seriously underapprecaited Ubisoft title

this is such a good time playing co-op, but I feel like it'd easy lose a star without that.

2012

amazing style and smart mechanics, but something just doesn't quite click
