This was really enjoyable with a really interesting main quest.

Great art direction and a fun area to play around with.

Gives fallout 3 the ending it deserves.

Great expansion with some amazing quests.

Aliens in fallout! It was pretty whacky and a lot of fun but again more action than rpg and with fallout 3 the action could be better.

less rpg and more action but provides some great context for the series.

When it launched it was a mess now that it's worked through it's kinks it's a ton of fun with a better story and better gameplay with a great game world to mess around in. The problem is when the server is laggy or has issues but the more time clearly Bethesda cares about this game cause its keeps getting better and better. If they gave the team more time this could have started like this.

Everything was elevated from fallout 3 they just needed to give the dev team more than 18 months to make this game.

A great RPG with an ending that leaves me frustrated unless you have the broken steel dlc. the shooting mechanics also could have been more fine tuned but with vats it's still perfectly playable. The story and player choice make this game amazing.

I think as an action game with RPG mechanics it's great. As an RPG I would like to have seen more player choice. It's not a bad RPG by any means it just needed more player choice with the overall story. I think it's a great game with a good story even if there isn't enough difference between the games endings.

It took the strength of the two towers game and learned from its mistakes and made really fun levels that you can play with many different characters. the fact you can interact with the enivorment was also really cool.

It's a fun game. They loving recreate levels from both the fellowship and the two towers. Though the Battle of Helms deep is far more annoying than it needs to be.

I think this game is a master of tension. The monsters are intense. The sense of dread and paranoia are also very well done. The problem is Isaac it's hard to connect to a character that's told to go there and do that. If he was more fleshed out as a character this would be a better game.

2009

A sub par max payne clone that could have been really cool but fell flat. For all it's grind house charm it felt pretty empty.

Another amazing entry in the series. the move to have the bulk of the story in Hawaii was a great move. Ichiban continues to show that he is a great protagonist with a great group of side characters. It also wraps up kiryus story in a very thoughtful way. the games main issues were some subplots being messily handled certain healing spells being an aoe instead of just healing everyone and some bosses just being a chore to fight. But the good very much outweighs the bad and this is a tremendous game.
