Honestly it was really great. I don’t get the hate. Maybe if I played the OG RE 3 I’d be more mad, but as a game itself it’s awesome. Jill is an amazing protagonist, and Carlos is amazing too. From my perspective, when I finished the game, my first thought wasn’t “I wish that was longer” it was “Wow that was fun, let’s do it again”.

I should probably mention my two major gripes with this game, one of which is vastly less serious than the other. The first one, which is more of just a nitpick, is that I hated going back to RPD. After the RE 2 Remake, I was just sick of it. That being said, the location didn’t overstay its welcome, the section was actually pretty cool, and it was interesting to see the setup for things that happened in RE 2. The second thing is something I genuinely don’t like though, and it’s the overabundance of tentacles in this game. Seriously. There’s too much. It weirds me out.

Hot take, but this game’s stealth made me feel more like a predator than Arkham Knight’s

At the risk of parroting most other reviews, I have to say, this game is amazing because it progressively gets more and more over-the-top, without becoming too goofy for its own good. Without spoilers, I'll say that this game had several distinct moments that befuddled me in the best way possible.

Aside from that, the gameplay itself is also super fun. In a game where dual wielding assault rifles or automatic shotguns is an option, stealth is still pretty satisfying to be honest.

Overall, this game is great, and should definitely be picked up by anyone who loves over-the-top action in games, and hates Nazis.

The definition of games as an art form. Perfect. I’ve finished it once. I intend to do it again. Do yourself a favor and play this.

I finally get it now. Uncharted 4 is the best game of all time. It's better than Spider-Man. It's better than Devil May Cry 5. It's better than Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. It's better than Red Dead Redemption 2. It's better than Sunset Overdrive. It's a work of art. It's the culmination of the history of mankind's pieces of fiction. It's the zenith of natural creativity. It is the single greatest piece of art ever created. It makes the Sistine Chapel look like something a five year old drew. It makes the Acropolis look like four legos stacked together. It makes The Godfather look like a home video. Anything and everything, all that is considered "art" pales in comparison to this masterpiece. Without a doubt in my mind, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is single-handedly the greatest story ever told. When RDR2 was marked as my favorite game, I didn’t take the time to review it. When Spider-Man was marked as my favorite game, I didn’t take the time to review it. When Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance was marked as my favorite game, I didn’t take the time to review it. But on the same day I finished Uncharted 4, I reviewed it. That should tell you something.

I think this game gets too much hate in the AC community. Even if it's not perfect, I genuinely enjoyed this game and I think it's super fun.

Now as everyone knows, the three pillars of Assassin's Creed gameplay is traversal, stealth, and combat. So let's go in that order and rip off the band-aid quick. Parkour sucks. It's just straight up nowhere to be found. You can climb up pretty much any surface, which is cool, but that doesn't count as parkour. To be fair, the setting isn't very conducive to parkour as we've seen it before in the first place. Ancient Greek architecture just isn't parkour friendly by design, unlike 1700's France, for example. Moving on, stealth is ok. It's not the best I've ever experienced, but it's not horrible. Even though I generally prefer the guns blazing approach, I'll sometimes take the stealthy route just for fun. One aspect of stealth I'm glad they left behind is the trailing missions. Easily my least favorite part of the earlier games, and I can't remember any in this game. As for the combat, I think it's great. Each of the different weapon types are really fun to use, and everything just flows great. As cool as they are, the one hit counters kinda trivialize combat, and even though I know the series had already ditched them for some time at this point, I'm happy with how they handled it this time. Parries and dodges feel balanced between encounters, so you feel like you actually have options, instead of just one good thing and one thing that's complete deadweight. I don't know how to explain it, but combat just feels good. And of course, you can't speak of the combat in this game without mentioning the abilities. They add a nice variety to the combat and feel kinda like special moves in a fighting game. Before I move on from gameplay, I'd like to just say that the three skill trees for the different playstyles is a really cool idea, and I think it was executed well.

The next few things I want to talk about are the gear/customization, the open world, and the story. I will go in that order.

The gear system is pretty cool. There are some really awesome looking armor pieces, and the transmog is a well appreciated feature. However, I kind of prefer the way Valhalla does it, with each gear piece being it's own individual item you can only get from specific places and enemies, whereas that only applies to legendaries in this game. But the transmog in this game is easily ten times better.

The open world is amazing. This game's rendition of Ancient Greece has to be one of my favorite video game maps I've played. Visiting the bigger cities like Athens and Sparta is probably one of the coolest things we've been able to do in video games, and roaming the seas, trekking the mountains, and riding through the forests is also really fun. There's a huge amount of side content to do, which is great. One of my favorite things to do in these types of games is going around and getting all the end-game gear and becoming unstoppable. The mythical creature stuff is super awesome, and the other side quests are cool. I don't really know what else to say, so let's discuss the story.

Personally, I don't really pay attention to story in games, so it's never really a deciding factor in my opinion on the games, but I liked this one. Because of the sheer scale of this game, the story kinda diverges into multiple different side storylines that lead back into the main story when they end. Although I can't remember most of them, the part that takes place during the Olympics is really cool. As for the main plot itself, I liked that there was a focus on family, since that's pretty important to me. It's a little convoluted sure, but I'm not bothered by that. While we're on the topic of story, I feel like I should mention the protagonist. In my opinion, Kassandra is really cool, and the voice actress did a great job. And by the way, she's the canon choice if you were wondering. And that's pretty much it.

The last thing I wanna touch on real quick is the DLC. I think the episodic approach was cool, and it kind of created suspense, even though I had access to all of it at once. Legacy of the First Blade was great, and it made me feel bad for Kassandra, which means that it had good story telling. And The Fate of Atlantis is just so undeniably awesome. Elysium and Hades are cool, but being in Atlantis is an unrivaled experience if you ask me.

All in all, this game is super awesome and definitely worth playing, especially if you like history. As an AC game, I guess we just have to accept that the series went in a different direction, and that this was AC for a while. So yeah, give this a shot, and thank's for reading.

I think that this game is a solid, worthy successor to the first game. The movement is definitely different, but still good in my opinion. I just wish Heller was a little faster, because even with the max speed upgrades, he still felt sluggish compared to Mercer. You also can't grab on to buildings and wall-crawl anymore, which wasn't very practical in the first game in the first place, but I still thought it was cool. The combat is still great if you ask me. The tendrils are a fun addition, and I enjoy the charge attacks you can do with each power. And the fact that you can have two powers equipped at once is cool, even if it sacrifices combo variety. As for the story, it's fine I guess. Virus Alex is a really awesome and menacing bad guy, and Heller is badass in his own right too. INCOMING SPOILER. You have been warned. I fully believe that Alex let himself get consumed by Heller. If he wanted to, he would've wrecked his shit so hard. Even in the actual boss fight, it feels like Alex is trying to be a teacher to Heller, and this is kind of like his final exam. All in all, this game is definitely worth playing, give it a try.

Good fun. Can make me incredibly stressed out though.

Pretty solid experience, and it was a nice show of what's to come. If you think about it, it's kind of like the tanker segment from MGS2 but made into its own game. It gets bonus points for the Extra Ops as well, especially Jamais Vu. All in all, might as well play it because it's fun and why not.

I really liked this the first time I played, and then I thought back and remembered all the aspects and sections that made me wanna slam my head against a concrete wall until my brains leaked out of my skull and poured into my eyes and made me go blind.

The combat is my favorite part, 95% percent because of the animations, and 5% because it provides zero challenge and it's an effective form of entertainment for when I want to turn my brain off. The parkour is decently mediocre, but still fun somehow. And the stealth makes me wanna cave my face in with a spiky brick that's on fire. I like using the ropedarts though.

The story itself was fine, I didn't really pay attention to it. But oh god the campaign itself. Most of the missions make me want to take a shower with gasoline and kerosene and then dry myself near an open flame. And then stab myself and drink poison. I know that this has been said numerous times before, but the Haytham prologue was too long for my taste. I mean, it was pretty cool, don't get me wrong, but it definitely overstayed its welcome.

The side content is honestly great if you ask me. The fight club was probably my favorite because it was just straight up combat all the time. Hunting is also fun, especially with the hidden blades. The forts are also pretty cool since they offer an experience for people who like to play stealthy and people like me. Finally, I never really got into the Homestead missions, and lord knows I ain't doing another playthrough to experience them, on account of the fact that sometimes this game makes me want to drink a gallon of corrosive acid.

All in all, you should play this game, but only if you're fine with not having fun most of the time.

Eh, solid 6.5. Kinda mediocre, but has the capacity for entertainment. The combat is actually pretty fun, if not mind-numbingly simple. The stealth is hella asscheeks, as is the case with the entire AC series until Unity. Fight me bitches. And the parkour is probably the best part of the gameplay. Smooth, satisfying, and generally a good time. Almost forgot the tower defense sections which are pretty decent, all things considered.

I did not like this game and there is nothing you can do or say to convince me otherwise. I don't care how beautiful it is, it was not fun for me. Although it is very pretty.

I don't remember playing this game. Which means it sucked testes.

It's basically just a mobile game on console. It is just so wildly ass. Like, this game wakes up and has cock burrito with a side of balls and a large glass of condensed ass-hair water. Do not play it.

I got this game when I was eight, and it was one of the only shooters I was allowed to play. I never even played the multiplayer, but goddamn, Skirmish on Graveyard of Giants seemed like the pinnacle of gaming to my stupid undeveloped ass. All in all, this is probably the one game that I allow myself to love, even though it's objectively ass, for nostalgia reasons. I don't think anyone should buy this, especially not in 2022, but I still love it.
